I was born in Mississippi, where much of my family remained for many generations. My husband's family came from Mississippi to Oklahoma Indian Territory on the Trail of Tears.

Researching our families has made our rich history come to life and like reading a good book, you find it hard to stop. One of the most unexpected pleasures and my favorite; is discovering many lost relatives and discovering other wonderful family members that we may have never known otherwise.
