|Gordon Hunter||RE: Re Mary Laurent|
Looking through the death certificates of the children of Gertrude, one lists her maiden name as Helhney, and one as Hane. Either way, itís no link to Judge.
|Gordon Hunter||RE: Mary Judge Laurent|
Just from looking at documents on-line:
Maryís death certificate lists Scotland as her place of birth. It lists Ireland as her fatherís place of birth, and Scotland as her motherís.
Gertrude and Joseph are buried at St. Philomenaís, which is now Christ our Redeemer. They are both listed as being born in Germany.
This doesnít seem to connect them. What information do you have that Gertrudeís maiden name is Judge?

It's fine. :) Every little bit of information helps.

My transfer of the memorial to you does not remove the memorial from the virtual cemetery. In fact, I noticed after I transferred the memorial to you that my link to it was not there. I will send the link to you as an edit so you can read it. You will have to copy the link as written and paste it into the bio. I've found that you need to hit the return key after the link to make it work the first time.
Let me know if you have any problems with it.
I didn't know Doris Southcomb Meadows. I just photographed and documented that cemetery a few years ago to make sure everyone was recognized. I have sent you her obituary in an email. Hope that helps with what you're looking for.

|Leslee Campbell Lindstrom||RE: Caleb Evans #46837001|
Anna Smalley Evans is my 6x Great Grandmother. I haven't been able to find a Mortality on Anna. I have search Ancestry thoroughly too. I wonder if there are any old records for the Evans Cemetery where they are both buried? I did join the PA Genealogical Society which included free research so thought I might get death & birth information from them. They do have lots of records.
For Caleb, I have Federal Mortality saying death Mar. 1860 Greene Cty, PA. Most of the census put his date of birth around 1800. Some don't give ages so it's hard to tell the earlier the census is. So it could be 1799 or 1800.
So we are distant relatives through Anna. I have been researching the Smalley line but run into trouble proving Azariah Smalley & Elizabeth Slaght were Anna's parents. Then going one step further for Arariah's father, Jonathan Smalley Jr. (8x Great)is even more challenging to get proof.
So the challenge continues. Thanks for taking the time to write. Sorry I have been late in responding also.
