Anna Smalley Evans is my 6x Great Grandmother. I haven't been able to find a Mortality on Anna. I have search Ancestry thoroughly too. I wonder if there are any old records for the Evans Cemetery where they are both buried? I did join the PA Genealogical Society which included free research so thought I might get death & birth information from them. They do have lots of records.
For Caleb, I have Federal Mortality saying death Mar. 1860 Greene Cty, PA. Most of the census put his date of birth around 1800. Some don't give ages so it's hard to tell the earlier the census is. So it could be 1799 or 1800.
So we are distant relatives through Anna. I have been researching the Smalley line but run into trouble proving Azariah Smalley & Elizabeth Slaght were Anna's parents. Then going one step further for Arariah's father, Jonathan Smalley Jr. (8x Great)is even more challenging to get proof.
So the challenge continues. Thanks for taking the time to write. Sorry I have been late in responding also.

Linda, do you have a ancestry.com family tree? If you do and would like to share family info and photos we could send each other an invitation to each others family trees. Let me know if you would like to do this, then when I get your invitation, I will send you one to my family tree. This way we can share photos and info much better, OK? I'm trying to place at least one good photo of each person into my family tree (More is better) this way I have a face to go with every name. Photos are what I think make a family tree the best!!!

Hi Linda, I finally sifted through my stuff & this is what I have:
5th Generation Grandfather: Caleb Evans b. 1799-1800 d, 27 Mar 1860 m to Anna Smalley b. 1800-1802 d. 10 May 1855.
6th Generation Grandfather: Walter Evans b. 29 Aug 1762 d. 22 Aug 1838
They did have have 14 children with my connection/child/4th generation grandfather was John Evans b. 31 May 1830 d. 21 Dec 1902 m. Susannah Wood b. 18 Nov 1832 d. 27 Oct 1891 both buried in Oakridge Cemetery in Kansas.
Caleb & Anna buried in Evans Cemetery Greene Cty Penn.
So yes we do match. Do you have any documents, birth, death, marriage? I need those to proved lineage.
I also have pictures of John Evans & his wife Susannah Wood Evans sons, George, Caleb, Uriah, William, Sam, Warren, Grant. Also have a picture of their daughter (Alcinda 3rd generation Grandmother).
Doesn't seem like I can attached photos on this response but here is my personal email & if you want copies I can send them through that address. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks again for responding.
You need to contact the person that made the connection to Jacob. I listed Jacob not Anna.

Hi Linda, It worked. Thank you for the picture. I did keep the original in a folder just in case. The one posted, I cleaned it up a bit. If a family member would contact me I'll send them the original copy. Thank you again.

Hi Linda; I don't have a problem what so ever, if you added the photo to the memorial. If you would prefer, you can send me the photo. I thank you very much in this matter. Most of the memorials I have in PA. are due to hunting my relatives in PA. Again thank you and god Bless.

The Moores; Don't believe they're the same, no daughters by those names.
Hi Linda, I am researching my genealogy & Caleb's son John Evans (my great great Grandfather). His daughter Alcinda was my great Grandmother. She married Henry Campbell. This is my Dad's direct line.
If you have any other information about the family I would appreciate the help.
