I am from Portsmouth , Scioto County , Ohio . I enjoy Genealogy and the research of my many Family Tree lines. I also visit Cemeteries of my Ancestors and record their history .|
I have found out many interesting things about my Family Tree . I have discovered that I have deep " Dutch " roots that trace back to Colonial NEW Netherlands( America) before 1642, some 130 years before the American Revolution. I also have many family ancestors that trace back to early New England Colonial-American families. Many of my Family lines trace back to England , France , Netherlands , Ireland and Scotland . One Family branch the " Coryell / Coriell " used to hang out with George Washington during the American Revolution .* see Coryell Ferry 1776 .
Perhaps the most interesting , is that I am related to the " Gorsuch " family that settled Baltimore, Maryland in the mid 1600's. My Gorsuch ancestors are descendend from " Royal Lines " of Europe , including many Kings and Queens of England ,France , Spain , Scotland and more..
I also have many German & Prussian Immigrant lines from the mid 1800's .
later , many of my family ancestors migrated west and became early pioneers & settlers of Kentucky and Ohio . I am connected to many of the Earliest Families of Scioto County Ohio .
feel free to contact me , I am willing to help other families to obtain a gravesite photo of their ancestors in Scioto County . I am happy to photograph their ancestors for them .
I also want Find-a-Grave Volunteers to send photos of the Gravesites of my family ancestors that I cannot travel to... I have Many out of State Gravestites that I would like photographed...

|v f||RE: James Sweeney|
Don't see where this James Sweeney was ever in Kentucky. Looks like he came over from Ireland with his brother John where they stayed in Ohio for a while then came to Wabash Co where they purchased farm land. Can't find a wife for him yet, if he was ever married. I have the rest of the Lagro Sweeney family linked together. I think Cornelius is a brother of John and James also.
I see where there are trees on Ancestry having James died in Kentucky with a photo of the stone I took in St. Patrick cemetery. How confusing for others.

Hi Aaron, my name is Laura Stidham. You found my greatgreatgrandmother's grave Eliza Crawford. I didnot know where she was buried, thank you. I live in md. And can not get to ohio as much as I would like. I noticed her stone has something written on the bottom of it, could you tell me what it says? I have been doing research on my family for 15 years now and love getting every thing I can on my family. Eliza was married to Robert Crawford, she died during child birth. Her daughter ruby Crawford brown also died giving birth to twins at about the same age. Thanks again, you can email me at email@example.com

Hey Aaron, great job on bringing that stone back up where it can be viewed. Do you work for the township or are you just a cemetery enthusiast?
Thank you so much for putting the stone back together these photographs are amazing. Pretty sure Betsy Bliss is their daughter age 17.

Thanks Cousin Aaron

Thanks for the corrections.
Henry should be Berry as Berry is what he went by
instead of Newberry Sylvester. Can't blame him.
The 1860 census below has him as Berry but Hester as Esther can't win.
