Bio

My name is Jane Knowles-Hall. I have just rediscovered this site. My husband and I have 5 children and 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. I am retired. In my few moments of spare time I find myself researching family history. As I walk the many cemeteries, I take pictures of graves, some are members of my family others are not. I am so glad that I can share my finds with others.
I have a blog on my genealogy finds. The address is:
I have many family stories that have been shared with me about my lines. My family lines are Jones, Owens, Knowles, Nash, Painter, Hall,Prothero(e) and Edgerton, Keller, Breeden and many more. These are the primary ones I work on. I have others and my family gets together every couple years to visit and keep in touch. We have all shared in my tree at ancestry.com and my family in Wales and England help me with my research there... I spend many hours in libraries, courthouses and cemeteries across the country and in Europe.
Any individuals that I have created files for are usually directly related to me. If I do create one for someone not in my family tree I am glad to transfer along with any picture of the grave. I don't own those... they belong to their family. I am not in a contest to try and create the most or have more than what truely belongs to me.

I don't think its right for someone else to post several thousand obits and call them their find because they posted it first & then refuse to transfer it.

Feel free to use any photos I have posted.
