Steve, So happy to work with you on these memorials. Jan's father was the celebrated Norwegian/American tenor, Carsten Thorvald Woll (my 1st cousin 2x removed). I am very proud of my Woll relatives and have thoroughly enjoyed researching their lives. Jeri Stewart

Thank you. The old stones are hard to read.

I wonder if you know the town on the grave stone where William was born in Ireland. I can't quite make it out.
Thanks for so promptly linking members of the Lillejord family and adding maiden names.
Thanks for the speedy updates.

I was surprised to see my great Aunt, who I never met, was buried in Minneapolis with her husband Richard. Although they lived here many years, they both died in California, and I assumed that was where they were buried. I have been looking for ten years now for their daughter, Dorothy. I don't know is she ever married or where she lived. Would cemetery records be available to see names of family? She was born in 1929 and is one of few family members left in my dads generation.

Thank you very much for the prompt updates and helping to better connect these families.

No I am not related to Garlin, I just fulfilled the photo request for Linda. I hate these situations because no matter what we do, there will be confusion- whether it is the person looking for her under the name "Hermanson" or someone who photographs the section someday and looks for her as "Femrite," doesn't find her in the database, and creates a duplicate. There's not a good way to win in these situations, so I just stick with find-a-grave guidelines and make a detailed notation in the biography. I wish they would fix the search capability so that this issue would not exist.
Thanks for looking into this.

I would send this change via the normal way but I believe it needs explanation rather than just submitting the edit alone. She is buried as Garlin Femrite, although apparently had remarried and taken the name Hermanson. I just photographed her stone and the only surname given on the stone is Femrite. Per find-a-grave guidelines, the memorial should reflect the last name as it is given on the stone, and any other surnames// married names should be detailed in the biography section of her page. Do you mind making this change?
