Bio and Links
In 1977 I attended my first Highland Games and wondered where and when my fore fathers came to this country. This started a desire to record my family's history.

It has been fun and rewarding. I have met distant cousins that were happy that someone was eager to record what they knew about their family members.

Over the past 39 years, I have written 3 books on the Cameron families of Robert and Mary Ann (Worthington) Cameron. I have the 1837 James Cameron family Bible with many events that have documented family mild stones since the early days of the territory and state of Iowa.

With a few road blocks over the years to find out where and when my Cameron family came from, I have enjoyed the hunt to find the first family member to come from Scotland to America. There are a few leads, but only time will tell if they will pan out to the one that made all of this possible.

I am willing to share what I have, I am not a hoarder of the history that I have written, I am the best point of contact for my Cameron clan.

Chuck

Your welcome interesting history, they must of been moved to the cemetery it opened about 1862. I like the double stone for the brothers.

I have added Frances to John's site and linked him to his wife. I have also replaced wife with her name that you gave me. I did not changed the date of birth since the photo has if different. Could you provide some eveidence to make that change? Then people won't point out why the dates are different.
Sincerely,
Shirley

RE: Sarah L Mann O'Boyle
Chuck, is Sarah related to you? If so I will transfer her to you as she is of no relation to me. I rather she be with kin folk than a stranger.

In reference to your request of adding parents - would you please put birth/death dates with the person who you want linked to their parents as there are two James Mann's and want to make sure I have it correct.

Thank you for helping us with this project. We will add his name to our list so he will have a flag placed on his grave for Memorial Day.
Please let anyone else you know about our project sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.
