I once thought it was strange that I found cemeteries so interesting. Some members of of my family thought it strange, too. Here I see that I'm not alone. Seriously, I think this is a great way to remember and respect our loved ones. There are many great folks to meet as well (among the living, I mean) on Findagrave. I have enjoyed meeting them and sharing. Through Findagrave I have learned that no less than five Confederate veterans are among my ancestors.
RE: Aquilla Weathers Erbie, glad to hear from you. It would be nice to meet you. I am going to try to look up some of this information and work on it. Reid's health has gone down some and I stay busy with him most days. I am fine. Thanks for asking. Sometimes this 'job' makes you want to pull your hair out but in the end it is always worth it. RE: Georgia Brinson Photo You are very welcome, I'm glad that I could help you. I like volunteering grave marker photos for people, especially when they live so far away and they can't get to the cemeteries themselves. It makes it all worthwhile.
