Bio

I am a native of Southern Illinois, but the USArmy brought me south in 1971 and here in the southland is where I remain.

After living here on the Savannah River for 26 years I discovered that my paternal 3rd Great Grandparents owned a 1500 acre plantation only 90 miles north of Augusta, Georgia in Union County South Carolina much to my surprise.

From 1997 on, I've taken an interest in the many lines of my family and the many branches of my family tree. Genealogy is my obsession, documenting my heritage and the heritage of my wife who was a native of West Virginia, and that of my son-in-law's heritage as well, for the sake of my grandchildren.

I very much appreciate the efforts of all of the Find A Grave family.
