Payne Gap
Hello Carole I think I am finished with Payne Gap Cemetery. I located all but 5. There are a lot of graves here that have no marker at all. I will re-visit often to keep it updated. Again I think you did an exceptional job on transcribing the cemetery. I only found several because you had row numbers listed. Several had to be dug up but I knew where to look! Did you visit the cemetery to transcribe or did you do it from online? Thanks Carol

RE: Payne Gap
Hello Carole I have no picture of James Cliff Belue. He does have a picture posted on the other memorial 86708570 so I would say he is not buried at Payne Gap but with his second wife. His first wife and daughter are at Payne Gap. Thanks

That would be great. I have done Chaney Chapel, Fuller, Pisgah and Payne Gap. I really like doing the older ones that you have to hunt in the woods. We have several of those around here. Are you from this area? Thanks again for the good job. Carol

Hi Carole I am trying to finish up on this cemetery, but had a few things I wasn't sure about. J. Ezra, Nettie, Joseph share a headstone that list name as Ott-Tipton. Is last name Ott- Tipton or just Tipton? If Tipton, What is Ott? Also you have created about 30 memorials that have no death date. Are these people still living? As I don't like to post pictures or memorials to people that have not passed away, but I know there are a lot of headstones that the death date just doesn't get engraved. I have pictures and would be glad to post if you know the people have passed away. I would also like to tell you I think you did an outstanding job on documenting this cemetery!!
Thanks Carol

RE: Payne Gap
Your very welcome. I am not completely finished because of the holidays, but I plan on going back tomorrow again. Thanks for going the extra mile and linking family members together (not just adding a name). That makes posting pictures easier.

RE: Greenwood Cemetary
Not so much as the graves unmarked but there doesn't seem to be much organization of the rows

Please find out as much info as you can about the location of the stone. I was there today 12/23/2016 and it was tough to find stones. There wasn't an office or anyone on the property and for some reason all of the street/lot signs were painted over in black. I will try again another time.
