Find A Grave was very useful to me in my past family research, now it's time to give back to this site. Find A Grave is where we find and add our memorials to our loved ones. It's wonderful to have this place where we are able to see the headstone, maybe their picture, and add their life story, and link them to their parents, spouse and children. It broke my heart to find someone dear to me here, after visiting the grave for such a long time and running out of conversation with the headstone, so began the taking of pictures of the markers next to the grave. If you stand at the grave, name all the children on the stone, and tell them what the grandchildren have been up to lately, you get to the sad part of the grandchildren they never got to know. Should our grandchildren ever want to know where they came from this may be one place to look in the future. If there is a memorial added and it is your friend or relative my loved ones are probably near by. It is surprising how many contact me about the names that have been added with more links and information. If you show interest in a name there will be more research done, so look again at it later. My renewed interest is in family history and plan to enter information mainly in the southwestern Idaho area. Will try to help you with requests, have had good luck finding local obituaries on microfilm.|

I am pretty sure that she was born in Illinois. That is what I find on Census records. Her parents did move to Lucas County, but not till 1865 or so.

May I have permission to use your photos in my private family tree? I will gladly give you credit for them if you so desire.
Thank you for your consideration!

Thank you SO MUCH for posting the obit of my great uncle (my grandmother's baby brother) I was just saying to my husband that I would love to get his obituary and you have just blessed me with that. I will have to share it with my cousins. Thank you again for all the hard work you are doing. Great Job!

Wonderful Job!! Thank you Dan. I just wanted to clear up what appeared to be errors in both obits and I appreciate how you handled the situation.
Best Wished for you and yours in the New Year.

Thank you for the obituary for Ken. He and my uncle were like brothers, they were both teachers, hunters and lovers of the outdoors and Yellow Pine, Idaho. My brother now owns Ken's place in the quaint small town.

Merry Christmas Dan, I attended Boise High in the 1960's. Dumas Freeman was our great principal. I am going to ASSUME this is he, unless you know better, and leave flowers. Just wondering if you might know for sure. There cannot be too many Dumas Freemans in Idaho,
I would think. Thank you for your work! Joe
