Find A Grave was very useful to me in my past family research, now it's time to give back to this site. Find A Grave is where we find and add our memorials to our loved ones. It's wonderful to have this place where we are able to see the headstone, maybe their picture, and add their life story, and link them to their parents, spouse and children. It broke my heart to find someone dear to me here, after visiting the grave for such a long time and running out of conversation with the headstone, so began the taking of pictures of the markers next to the grave. If you stand at the grave, name all the children on the stone, and tell them what the grandchildren have been up to lately, you get to the sad part of the grandchildren they never got to know. Should our grandchildren ever want to know where they came from this may be one place to look in the future. If there is a memorial added and it is your friend or relative my loved ones are probably near by. It is surprising how many contact me about the names that have been added with more links and information. If you show interest in a name there will be more research done, so look again at it later. My renewed interest is in family history and plan to enter information mainly in the southwestern Idaho area. Will try to help you with requests, have had good luck finding local obituaries on microfilm.|

The memorial is correct according to my tree. What did I give you that was wrong? Did I have a senior memoment? The wife listed as Hazel is strange. I haven't been able to find a Hazel. Dorothy's obit does not mention Clyde's name but just says her husband died several years ago. And yes the daughters are Dorothy's. Elaine is married to John Wood and Lois is married now to Ed Stadt but appears to have been married to Norman Alexander but I can't prove that. Dorothy and Clyde are not buried together, perhaps a clue to possibly not being a couple, Find A Grave Memorial# 108725712.

Thank you, Dan.
My mother was a friend of Anna and had not heard from her in years. We knew she was in Nampa but mailings kept coming back.
Mother is now 88 and had given up on finding out about her friend. Your posting and a little research has linked this family.
I hope her children will find this memorial (and the links to their family...some interesting stories about Anna's parents and grandparents are posted.)
Anna was a sweet lady...and deserves to be remembered.

Thanks a million for the obituary for my cousin Ida. You have given us information we really needed and appreciate.

I am apart of a group of women who have had the displeasure of having to bury their children at various ages. I had a question about her grave. It shows another name on there of Billie, trying to find out about them I did a search and found that the names of the parents are Viola and Robert Boren according to Billie's death record. I don't know if you happen to have any info on them but it would be appreciated. We find a common bond with anyone else who's buried a child and I'm interested in their story. Thank you.

I added the the info you sent me to the bio of Mauricio's memorial, as requested. I am not a relative of his, and would be happy to transfer his memorial to you, if you are and would like me to. If not, I'm more than happy to leave things as they are and continue to update it with any info sent to me! Just let me know!

You are correct. Most of the dates I received from Merchant FH has the burial dates not the date of death. But I figure they are better than nothing. You bio has been added too.
|Ann Hofmann||Frank Hillyard|
Hi Mr. Fowler,
My name is Ann Hofmann. My father, James D. Bowles, was in WWII with Frank Hillyard. We have been unable to find any of Frank's family. My dad and Frank were best buddies and in fact, were the only 2 members of their troop to survive the war. Frank and his wife were going to come and visit my family but Frank was killed in a tractor accident just before the visit was to take place. I was not born yet but I have been told that my father took the news very badly.
I would like to contact Mr. Hillyards family if any exist. We know that he had a step-son named Rene. We do not know Rene's last name. Any help would be appreciated. Is anyone else buried with Mr. Hillyard?

Thank you for the Chapman obit. I have added it to his memorial.
