|I have been doing my families genealogy for over 18 years and came upon this site a few years back. It has been a great help in my searches for connecting to my past history. I really enjoy helping others in finding their past history and I hope the pictures and memorials I add help others in their searches.|
If possible "Please" help out your photo volunteers by obtaining the plot information from the cemetery and adding it to your request. Also if you remark that you are requesting both spouses, please submit a seperate request for each spouse. Remember you are asking the volunteers to help you on their own time. Making it easier on them means they spend less time trying to gather/research the data in trying to find the grave locations, which in turn means they can get to the cemetery to fullfill your request that much quicker.
As many of us are related to the same surnames, please only request direct line ancestors for transfers as are in the Find A Grave Guidelines. This means: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be YOUR siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will gladly add any information provided via the suggestion tool. Sorry folks, but family always comes first.

Thanks very much for the photos of Leroy Douglas' gravestone. He was a shipmate of mine aboard USS Kitty Hawk.

Thank you for adding photos to the Luverne Grass memorial. One volunteer to another, we pass it on! I was helping to connect through a request received locally, and found this memorial was a relation, so made the connection for them. Glad to see other volunteers so willing to help. Now his family have links to him, a sibling, parents and grandparents. So happy to see these types of outcomes!

Hi, I just saw a memorial you created last year for Milo T. Carter in Olivewood Cemetery in Riverside, Calif. It said "Father" on the stone, and I was wondering whether there were other gravesites nearby for Carter family members.
My mother was a Carter, and if this is the Milo I have in my line, he would have been my mom's uncle (her father's brother).

Thank you for the wonderful photos of their markers. What a beautiful cemetery; it looks like a golf course or a park. And thank you for including the shot of the little brook running by the markers. I love pictures showing how they are situated.
Many thanks again,
