I have been doing my families genealogy for over 20 years and came upon this site a few years back. It has been a great help in my searches for connecting to my past history. I really enjoy helping others in finding their past history and I hope the pictures and memorials I add help others in their searches.|
If possible "Please" help out your photo volunteers by obtaining the plot information from the cemetery and adding it to your request. Also if you remark that you are requesting both spouses, please submit a seperate request for each spouse. Remember you are asking the volunteers to help you on their own time. Making it easier on them means they spend less time trying to gather/research the data in trying to find the grave locations, which in turn means they can get to the cemetery to full fill your requests that much quicker.
As many of us are related to the same surnames, please only request direct line ancestors for transfers as are in the Find A Grave Guidelines. This means: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be YOUR siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will gladly add any information provided via the suggestion tool. Sorry folks, but family always comes first.
If I have accidentally added a duplicate record please let me know and I will promptly remove it.
Oh and 1 more small thing.
ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!
The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is given without prior consent of the original submitter.

Hi, Thank you for looking I guess I jumped the gun. His service was just yesterday and I created the memorial. I never expected somebody would check so quickly. I have had a lot of my requests up for months with no takers.
Thanx again. I will try again later.

This is just a note from Indianapolis to thank you sincerely for responding to my call for a picture of my cousin Donald Louis May's gravestone. This was a really fast turnaround and the pics are gorgeous! Thank you for helping me honor Donald.

Thank you so much for the photo of his gravestone. The fact that his wife was buried with him broke down a brick wall!
And husband Cornelius.
I was up till like 3am today.... still awake I checked my email....I see you found them. This is perfect! He went by Neil, and that was all I knew. But then I was finding these Cornelius persons and then I could see the name "Neil" hidden within the name. I jumped out of bed when you sent this and had to come back to the computer to research some more and place items together in my tree and on Find A Grave.
Thanks so very much! You did GOOD!
