I have been doing my families genealogy for over 20 years and came upon this site a few years back. It has been a great help in my searches for connecting to my past history. I really enjoy helping others in finding their past history and I hope the pictures and memorials I add help others in their searches.|
If possible "Please" help out your photo volunteers by obtaining the plot information from the cemetery and adding it to your request. Also if you remark that you are requesting both spouses, please submit a seperate request for each spouse. Remember you are asking the volunteers to help you on their own time. Making it easier on them means they spend less time trying to gather/research the data in trying to find the grave locations, which in turn means they can get to the cemetery to full fill your requests that much quicker.
As many of us are related to the same surnames, please only request direct line ancestors for transfers as are in the Find A Grave Guidelines. This means: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be YOUR siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will gladly add any information provided via the suggestion tool. Sorry folks, but family always comes first.
Oh and 1 more small thing.
ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!
The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is given without prior consent of the original submitter.

I am writing to respectfully ask permission to use the photo that you contributed to Memorial # 96414138 for Kathryn Ann Kozer Daynes in my online family tree. If permission is granted, you will be fully cited as the source contributor.
Thank you for your time, consideration, and all that you do for the FindaGrave Community.

Hi CRob, I see you claimed the photo request for Leonard Taylor. If you haven't fulfilled it already, could you keep an eye out for his wife Caroline's memorial? I don't know where she is buried or when she died but there is a good chance that she is near her husband and possibly on the other side of his stone. Thank you, Charlie

Thanks for taking the photo of Mr. Cave. He was wounded on Anzio in early 1944 and then again on 18 March 1945 while breaching the Siegfried Line. Seeing the graves of the soldiers my dad fought beside during the war really helps me connect to his service. Thanks again for your fine photo! Best regards, James
