I live in central Arizona enjoy anything outdoors. Have been researching for a few short years but really enjoy it a lot . My family lines are Lewis/Soncrant/Coval/Williamson. The fun part about this site is taking a good mystery and turning it into a good story and by not only finding my ancestors but helping others connect with theirs. Thanks to all those that have helped me and hopefully and I can do the same for others. Any photos I post on memorials are not just for myself so feel free to use them however they may help you in your research or trees.|

Hello, Thanks for the Transfer. My Great Grandfather Eldridge Martin (coming from MO)homesteaded the land the Cline Family Cemetery is on. He named it the Cline Cementery, because the area was called Cline AZ. Later my Grandfather George W. Martin obtained the ajoining Ranch and both were considered the Bar X ranch. George took over both ranch's when Eldridge died in 1898. (not 1900 who someone guessed at and is on line now) George died in 1944.
Now there is a road from 188, named the Bar X which crosses the Tonto Creek, then the first Adobe ranch house,to the right is the old homestead, I visited as a girl. Empty now for a long time.
Yes, I know of the Packards and Goswicks, as I would hear my mother Ruby (born on the Ranch) and my Grandmother Ora Jan speak of them. It was a small area of families, everyone knew everyone else. I could try and do some research, if I knew who you were looking for. I believe I am the last one in my family familiar with Tonto. So, just send me an Email, with the names. Tell me exactly what you want to knwow! Email is email@example.com I am moving to Payson in a few months.

How are you related to Martha J. Babcock died
9 Jan. 1946 Middleville, Barry Co., MI.? She was married to 3rd husband my great uncle Cyrus Elial Babcock. He was my grandmother's brother and much younger than Martha.
I believe she is buried with "Cy" Babcock
in White Cloud cemetery, White Cloud, Newaygo Co., MI.
I am ordering her death certificate for verification out of Barry County.
She had two son's Fred and Hugh Higgins Jr. that
pre-deceased her and are buried in Oakhill Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI.
