Lori I noticed you were also researching Price. Lucinda Eaves Brown's mother was Faithy Ann Price daughter of Sterling Price and Mary Freeman, they had a son James Price married to Elizabeth (I have no proof of wife's name)

|Kay Baldwin||RE: Craig family connections|
I see that you or your spouse may have some Craig connections. My maternal grandfather was Mallie Harwood Craig, and his father was Benjamin F. and his father James Craig of Lavaca or Beverly, Sebastian County, AR in the late 1800s and early 1900s before my grandfather moved to Haskell County, OK. Does this make any connections with your Craigs? If so I'd love to hear from you. I have many blanks tracing the Craig family back to ALA where James lived before moving to Sebastian County and some blanks tracing Craigs (outside my mother's siblings) forward.
Thank you for your time.

Hi Lori, I am sorry but I cannot do anything more with this memorial, since I have transferred her over to you. Since I did not create the memorial for W.A., I cannot do anyhthing on his memoril either. You apparently have the control over them both and now, only You can make any corrections or changes.

I think the only way to do it would be simply to delete your memorial and rebuild it at the common site.
That will leave your Pleasant Ridge Cem. empty. I don't know how to delete a cemetery, but consult the Find A Grave help pages. I'm sure it's in there.

Do you realize there are two Pleasant Ridge Cemeteries listed at Find A Grave. We need to get rid of one.
Could you please move your memorial over to the main Pleasant Ridge site, where everyone else is buried. You've got your memorial in a cemetery with only one burial. The real Pleasant Ridge has more like 400.

|Kay Baldwin||Craig family connection|
Hi, I am a descendant of a Craig family in Sebastian county, Arkansas. I notice that you have ties to the Wooten and Craig family among others. Was Gladys Rae Craig Wooten the daughter of John Craig and his second wife Susan Brown? Was John the son of a James Craig? James Craig was my 2x great grandfather. His son Benjamin F. Craig was my first great grandfather. Benjamin's son, Mallie Harwood Craig was my grandfather and Ella Mae Craig his daughter was my mother. There appear to be many ties to Sebastian County, Arkansas but I am having some trouble finding out very much about James and his first wife who must have died in Alabama. Perhaps you have some additional information?
|Kathie AAH||Loves, Smiths|
Hi again. My "Love" line is from TN then moved into MO. My mom was a "Smith" and they were from IL, TN and MO. I'll keep you posted about our possible connections to both of these families. Thanks!

Hi Lori. My sister-in-law, Melody's, maternal grandfather was Tean Wooten (b. 1903), son of Thomas F. (b. 1870) and Rilla(sp?) Wooten. Thomas F. was a son of Lucy Ann Pope and John Wooten, so they would be Melody's g-g-grandparents.
I'm not sure if she has pictures going back to Thomas F., but I'm sure she has some of Tean and his wife, Bertha Mitchell Wooten (Bertha is still living and will be 106 years old sometime this year--truly amazing!). I'm sure Melody would like us to set up a memorial for Tean who is deceased, and we will add photos of him, Bertha, and family to it.
I am not currently on Ancestry, but will hopefully be re-joining this Fall. I will keep you posted and thank you so much!
My Best Regards, Kathie AAH

Three months have passed since I wrote you about the Pleasant Ridge problem. Could you have forgotten my note?
You have your Spencer family in a cemetery all by themselves. This means anyone visiting your Pleasant Ridge Cem. will find nobody but Wesley Spencer. And anybody visiting the big Pleasant Ridge Cem. will find no one named Spencer.
I have a special interest in Pleasant Ridge. My father grew up close by there, and many of our kinfolks are buried there. I recently set up a Pleasant Ridge blog to serve as a center for collecting memories of the community. I have uploaded some documents, but so far drawn few contributors. Wouldn't you like to participate?
