May I ask to transfer her memorial page to me as a direct relative. Edna is my great aunt as she is one of my grandmothers sister ( out of 17 children). I would like to link her to her parents who are buried at Halls Church up in Ironto, Montgomery Co., Va. Thanks!

Hey there Virginia! We are still "cousins" as Casper Smith and his line are also in my family on the Sowers/ Earles side from Floyd Co:) Karen in Texas

Howdy from Texas! I requested a photo for my great aunt's headstone (Edna Alice Smith Aliff) at Sherwood which was fulfilled today and noticed you were the manager of her memorial page and your family line included the Smiths in Floyd Co, Va. Well HOWDY from Texas because we are most likely distance cousins as my grandmother, Lossie Mae Smith Hite (also buried at Sherwood) is one of Edna's older sisters. How are you related to Edna? Have lots of unanswered questions concerning their parents, William B Smith and Fanny Hundley Smith! Care to correspond? Are we related?
|Debra Mock Brown||Samuel Weldon Brown Jr|
Hi Karen, I would like to request permission to use Samuel's (Memorial 89765233) in my Ancestry Family Tree. He is a second cousin on my father's side. I would also request permission to use pictures of members of Mr. Brown's family. I have several family trees on Ancestry, but my main 2 trees are both private trees so there is no public access. I also try to give credit for all pictures I use from other sources on my trees. Point of interest, of the 5 children in my family, the first 4 of us were given our grandparents middle names as our own middle names. My younger brother ended up with the middle name of Weldon, from my father's father. It appears this was a family name as I have seen it mentioned fairly frequently in this tree, though I have seen it rarely until starting my genealogy research. I like to have pictures on my trees -it helps me to imagine the human side of my ancestors as there are few pictures that go very far back. Thank you for your consideration and for your service to Find A Grave. Debbie Mock Brown.

I should have also mentioned that William Hamilton Swain (Memorial #93552209) was a son of William M. Swain (Memorial #93552188) and Anna (Hayden) Swain (Memorial #93552194). Loretta

Hi Karen. I found your listings for Nell (Swain) Dutton and John Wesley Dutton. Nell was a daughter of William M. Swain (Memorial #93552188) and Anna (Hayden) Swain (Memorial #93552194), who also are buried at Evergreen. William was a brother of my paternal grandmother, and his full name was William Millard Swain. Loretta Layman, Carroll Valley, PA

|Connie||Welcher, James Paul & Mabel Marie|
Karen, If there is any way possible, could you please transfer James & Mabel Welcher to my name. They are my grandparents and my mother, Marion Jeanette has been interred at their marker. I think you also have Randolph Nash Welcher, J.H., Della and Cassie Wilcher. J.H. and Cassie were my great grandparents and Randolph is my uncle. I'm not sure how this is done, but reading about it on findagrave. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely, C. DeJarnette

Thanks so much for the transfer of Lela Calfee Atkinson. She was my husband's grandmother's sister, so do appreciate having a family member taking care of her memorial. We were given all of the Calfees' pictures, so have much to include.. thank you!
