Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Robert Ramsey and I live in the Salt Lake County area of Utah. I love learning about relatives that I never knew. My father's family is from Alabama & my mother's family is from Idaho & Wyoming. My father's line consists of the Ramsey, Haddock, Gaylor, Hayes, Breeden, Reynolds, Ray & Bishop surnames. My mother's line is from the Sessions, Kendall, Cowley, Hollingsworth, Cox, Floyd, Clements & Carlson families just to start. I have an uncle on my father's side & an aunt on my mother's side who research our families, but I enjoy doing research as well.

Drop me an email if you think we might be related.

RE: Infant Son Ayers
I'm not sure what your message means? Did you want me to take photos of their markers?

Robert have been looking for awhile now and have not been able to find him. Have not checked with the office; sometimes helpful sometimes not. If you are related and could contact them for location and give it back to me I can track him down hopefully. So many older markers are gone or illegible. BJ

I have tried to reach you to see what you may need for Dads side of the family. Also thanks for typing in his obituary. I also found Evelyn's obituary, it doesn't make sense, they have her as a boy and Charles as Thos. I think they put that instead of Thomas. If you would like this I will email it to you.

Thanks much

I made the changes you requested. Thanks for bringing them to my attention.

Would you like me to transfer the memorial to you?

Burial: [Edit] at the bottom to change the location from unknown. Cheers~ Shirleen

No stone for Libbie. Tall stone near white car is her parents.

Ella Rutledge-Philadephia Cemetery
It is believed that she is buried in the Grimes cemetery directly south of the Philadelphia church. The owners of the ranch took my husband & I up to the site on four wheelers. We did not find her specifically - but there are Rutledges buried there - we are going back in the fall when you can see the ground better. The old Philadephia church was originally on the hill on the Shull Ranch.

Chattanooga Memorial Park Pics
Wm & Emma Bishop: As for someone checking the whole cemetery, that is funny. It would take at least several days to look at each and every marker - it's HUGE to say the least. I'll guarantee you there are more burials than the 10,363 listed on Findagrave. For example: I visit Ft Bliss cemetery all the time to take photos and there are 52,807 on Findagrave and that doesn't cover that whole cemetery.

I have numerous in-law relatives buried there and can't find them all. The staff will help with locations and a map if they are not busy. They still use index cards and have nothing on a computer-time consuming for them to look up information:(

We live out of the area but the next time we are in Hixson visiting relatives, I'll make a run over there, check with the office to find their burial locations and get you your photos.
