My name is Robert Ramsey and I live in the Salt Lake County area of Utah. I love learning about relatives that I never knew. My father's family is from Alabama & my mother's family is from Idaho & Wyoming. My father's line consists of the Ramsey, Haddock, Gaylor, Hayes, Breeden, Reynolds, Ray & Bishop surnames. My mother's line is from the Sessions, Kendall, Cowley, Hollingsworth, Cox, Floyd, Clements & Carlson families just to start. I have an uncle on my father's side & an aunt on my mother's side who research our families, but I enjoy doing research as well.|
Drop me an email if you think we might be related.

Robert: The following note is on a photo left by "Chestnut" and if you do not move Libbie's memorial to the Salt Lake City Cemetery, someone else may make another memorial and put it there, which will make yours invalid - click on ... Burial: [Edit] at the bottom to change the location from unknown. Cheers~ Shirleen
No stone for Libbie. Tall stone near white car is her parents.
Libbie is just mid to lower area of this pic. With her Son David and her husband.

It is believed that she is buried in the Grimes cemetery directly south of the Philadelphia church. The owners of the ranch took my husband & I up to the site on four wheelers. We did not find her specifically - but there are Rutledges buried there - we are going back in the fall when you can see the ground better. The old Philadephia church was originally on the hill on the Shull Ranch.

Wm & Emma Bishop: As for someone checking the whole cemetery, that is funny. It would take at least several days to look at each and every marker - it's HUGE to say the least. I'll guarantee you there are more burials than the 10,363 listed on Findagrave. For example: I visit Ft Bliss cemetery all the time to take photos and there are 52,807 on Findagrave and that doesn't cover that whole cemetery.
I have numerous in-law relatives buried there and can't find them all. The staff will help with locations and a map if they are not busy. They still use index cards and have nothing on a computer-time consuming for them to look up information:(
We live out of the area but the next time we are in Hixson visiting relatives, I'll make a run over there, check with the office to find their burial locations and get you your photos.

Hi Rob I thought this might be easier than trying to find time with our schedule. Could you please link Don's step son to him. His son is Ronald Gene Christensen. March 15,1958 to Nov. 15, 1976.

Logging operation currently going on. No access.
I am about to post a photo to James' memorial, however I want to clarify some information about this family.
First, there are two memorials set-up for James. The correct one is #105165287. He died in Dec, 1895 not May 20, 1940.
* On May 20, 1940, hundreds of remains were reinterred in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Because of this, many do not have headstones *
I am requesting that the duplicate entry be removed.
James is interred in Section L Row 94 Graves 36 & 37 with the following family members:
Amy E Engel
Henry George T Engel
Mary A Engel
E Osborne (Ethel Druschel??)
Cornelius Vincent Sheddy
Mary A Druschel
Next to them in Graves 38 & 39 are:
Edna Ruth Lann
I hope that this is your family and this information is of assistance to you.

Yes you now have William and Emma in the correct cemetery.
I will keep them on my list for the next time I am at this cemetery and keep a lookout for them.

Thank you for creating the memorial of baby Morgan Christyna Clements at Lake Hills Memorial Park in Sandy, Utah!
I added a photo and copy of the funeral program to her page and was wondering if you might fix the order of photos again? Perhaps...
3. Funeral Program
Of course, this is up to you. I am related to (and seeing this weekend!) Morgan's grandpa, Merland Joseph "Joe" Clements. His mother (Vera Annie Landon) and my grandmother were sisters.
Many thanks again,
Sharon B. (#47856058)
P.S. The quality of these items is only so-so because they are from online, but I think worth having here unless and until somebody scans something better. I cleaned them up as much as possible though.

Would you like photos of the grave sites of Bill's brother and parents as well?
