RE: Sarah Holcombe
Yeah, thanks, I have heard of many different ways to try and read the stones. I haven't tried them all, but I may try the chalk. I'd forgot about that one.

You are very welcome. Too bad the stone wasn't in better condition.

RE: Tyrus Cobb
I have found no direct connection. But all Aunts and Uncles and cousins thought they were distant cousins! LOL. I am sure I have asked - are you related to Alexander or Samuel Cobb? hlc

Lucile, sorry, I do not remember where I got the info, but I was able to locate this file that also shows the Tarpleys. Hope this helps.

Sorry, I do not have any other information. I have looked around for Tarpleys, but cannot figure out which one this is. Happy to transfer if you would like my Tarpleys in this cemetery :)

Thank you so much Lucile. I am still laughing out loud after reading your last message to me.

Big grins...... I get it. Funny how easy it is to misunderstand stuff some times.......... Sorry.

Have a super weekend, and know that I appreciate the kind words.
