Please feel free to ask for transfers or ask me to add info. Many of the memorials I have created are from wandering cemeteries or browsing through death certificates/records. If you know more than me, I will be happy to add info for you or transfer to you so you may make changes as you see fit (You don't even have to be a relative). I do not need to keep the memorials I created unless they are MY relatives. Many thanks to the contributors who have randomly added memorials of my family members, which has helped me fill in my family tree. I only hope I can do that for someone else.
Also, feel free to use any of the grave photos I have posted in any way you'd like.

Says body shipped by train to Oakland cemetery
So the sextor for Oakland Cemetery was wrong. I drove to Arkansas & couple times to Wyandotte Co Kansas. Read every xxx headstone Plus looked in the weeds where the Winns made their home.
I was right a long time ago. Doubt if she has a headstone. I may look again next trip down home.

Find A Grave Memorial# 122145622
Request to link to memorial page for his mother is declined as memorial is a burial unknown.
FindAGrave is not a family linking site. There are other websites for this purpose.
Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.
Memorial contributions to Find A Grave must fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition.

Hi Susan, you are welcome for the picture. I found other graves in that section according to the map, so I'm comfortable saying that the view of the photo covers the location Austin graves.

Susan, I took the photo off. I also took it off my Ancestry site also. I am from the Maryland Buxtons. Some of them went to Ohio and out west, so I learn about them from Ancestry and information that people have shared with me.
If you come across any of your relatives that are from Maryland and you would like me to share any of my sources with you, I'd love to do so. I've been scanning for someone that lives in Texas, and he has been sending me information that he has. Not the Buxtons, but the Getzendanners.
Thank you for being so helpful and letting me know how I turned down the wrong road. I am keeping your email so I can make sure I don't make the same mistake.
Thanks again, Linda

If you would like a fgs on Ira and his first wife, I can send you one. I found it interesting that John Wesley by Mary Green, married Mary Ellen McKenzie, sister to Ira's second wife. That is what you call keeping it in the family.

I'm not related to them - as far as I know. I just get curious about a name and research it. Most of my findings end up on Find A Grave. Right now I am trying to sort out Ellen Jane Burton, d/o Ira and Nancy Green. Do you have anything on her?

The Marion County cemetery records database indicates she was the daughter of John H and Elizabeth C Carnahan Adkins. You might call the Marion CITY office to confirm this info came from the original cemetery record. Good luck!
