Transfers, etc.
Hi again. I'm afraid I still don't understand everything in your latest message, but I did find your other page under Janice Smith. I guess I've written you before.

About transfers: The only person who can transfer a memorial is the one who "owns" it, so if you want to transfer memorials from your Janice Smith to your Janice Taylor identity, or vice versa, you have to do it. I can't. It's very easy though. You just have to log into FindaGrave with the name and email and password that you gave for the contributor name who owns the memorial. Once you are logged in, go to a memorial you want to transfer, and you will see all the editing commands on the page that no one else sees. In the upper right, there is the command "Transfer Management." When you click on that, a new page will ask for the number of the contributor that you're transferring the memorial to. You give the number of your other identity in the box. Once you click to transfer, there will be a second page confirming the number, and it will include the name of the contributor who matches that number, which will be you (just make sure to check it). Then you click to transfer again, and that's it. It will be transferred.

As for changing the name at the top of any profile page, you can do that too. If you want to change one from Janice Smith to Janice Taylor or whatever, log into the account of the name you want to change. Go to your profile page, and again, you'll see the editing commands that no one else sees. The upper right one is "Edit My Profile." If you click on that, you'll get a new page with Public Name, Email, Home Page, US Zip Code, etc. You can change your name right there and then hit "Save Changes." That's all you need to do. It's all a matter of logging into the right account. I hope this has helped.

RE: Johnson baby
Hi, Janice,
I'm afraid that I didn't quite understand your message. First, which Johnson baby are you referring to? I have 80 Johnson memorials including quite a few babies. Second, when you say that you have three or four pages--pages of what? Profile pages? If you have more than one profile page in FindaGrave, you can always transfer memorials from one to another.
