RE: Walter, Emma Miller
A couple days later and in another part of the cemetery I had to dig 12-15 inches in snow to find the stones I was looking for:)

Thank you so much certainly went beyond the call of duty on this one! Do you mind if I pass your picture on to those family members that contributed to the purchase of the headstone? I know they would really like seeing it. If there are any pictures in the central Virginia area you would like taken, I'm your gal...I owe you one! Thanks again!

Good morning Brenda...I just want to thank you again for photographing the marker for Kermit Stober. I contacted Perkins Funeral Home and they informed me the new headstone was set but not in the same place as the temporary marker. The only information they were able to provide is that it was placed next to another Stober (wasn't told which one :( ). Next time you are at Belfry Cemetery would you mind looking? He is my husband's uncle who died as a young teen and he has gone far to long without a permanent marker. I am sure those family members who contributed to the headstone would like to see a picture. There is no rush so whenever it is convenient for you would be fine. Thanks again for all you do!

Metcalf headstones Tony cemetery
Thank you for looking for Lewis Harrison Metcalf's and his wife Sarah's headstones. Looking at my documents, I see that on Lewis's DC it says that he was buried in Roscoe (no cemetery name). I know that is not far from Luther, but is there another cemetery there? The undertaker was from Red Lodge--R Martin. If you know if they are still in business or where their files might be I could contact someone and make sure he is buried in this cemetery.
Sarah's name might be Skifstad I guess and maybe she is buried near that husband and not Lewis Harrison Metcalf. Her obituary does state Tony Cemetery.
Of course there is the possibility that there are no headstones?
I appreciate your willingness to look into this later when the weather is better!

Thanks for the picture, Brenda. I really appreciate the time you took to take it. I was disappointed there was no granite headstone and the temporary marker from Perkins Funeral Home was still there. We had purchased a stone and was told it was installed the end of last month. They'll be hearing from me first thing tomorrow morning! Thanks again for your efforts.

RE: Photos
It looks like we just missed one another yesterday. I was there with my husband after church.

Of course you can post your pictures. Do you need me to unclaim the listings first?

RE: Hello
Hi Brenda,

Thank you so much for taking the time to inquire about all of this for me. Unfortunately, my ancestor died in 1927.

I really appreciate you looking into it though.

Thanks again,
