Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love family history and connecting with other amateur genealogists. I live in northwest Nebraska. I'm researching Turner, Fairchild, Mahan, Waters, Pollard, Stockman, Woodruff, Kellogg, Kelly, McCall, Gunderson, Harnett, Spurway, Woodbeck, Squires, Kuk, and Greene, to name a few.

I love old photographs and think they really enhance each memorial. If I add a photo to one of your memorials and you would like it removed, please let me know and I'll delete it. Feel free to use any photos I add in any way you wish.

I believe that a relative's memorial should be with family, not with strangers. I believe that these memorials need to be with people who knew and loved them.

Please use the "edit" button on the memorial when you are requesting a transfer or sending corrections.

If you call Acacia Park Cemetery and Mausoleum at 773-625-7800 and:
1. Ask if your photo request person has a headstone / grave marker.
2. If there is a headstone / grave marker ask for the section, block, lot and grave number.
3. If you send that information to me, Susan (#48964989) I will go there and fulfill your photo request. Of course any other Find A Grave volunteer can also fulfill your request if you then add the headstone location information to your photo request page.
Good Luck.

Is it possible that Ribbeygam is a nickname for Rebecca Minerva Waggoner who married Friend Robert Lemen?

Tim Hutfless
Hello You set up my fathers information
I want to thank you for doing this, however, as his son, and only son, I am upset that you mentioned his stepkids, but not his real children. So he was born 10/12/1942. He left behind 3 children, Barbara(Michelle), Constance(Connie) and Timothy (Tim)

Dennis Hutfless 10/12/1942 - 09/28/1979 Calvary Cemetery Omaha Nebraska.

RE: Paul J. Schmidt
Thanks for your quick response to my note to you. The picture that you have is definitely my great grandfather. He was among the who's who of Detroit. He had a large shoe store and his pic was in the Detroit Institute of Arts. I have his birth record from Germany. My daughter got it from the archives in Rostock, Germany. He came to US in 1873 with his mother Helene and brother William following the death of his father in Germany. I have the immigration/ship record on that. Also have photo of his memorial stone at the Acacia Park Cemetery in Birmingham MI. Trying to locate where I put the photo and will send once I find it. I am interested to know how you are connected to him if at all. I'm always pleased to find family connections.

Paul J. Schmidt
I discovered your photo and info of my great grandfather Paul J. Schmidt at Find a Grave. I'm not sure how to edit info so am contacting you with my researched info. Paul J. was born at Rostock, Germany on 25 Mar 1869. He died on 13 Jan 1935 at Detroit, Michigan. He is buried at Acacia Park Cemetery, Birmingham, Michigan. I will locate photo of memorial stone and forward later. I am wondering where you found the picture of my ggrandfather?
