I love family history and connecting with other amateur genealogists. I live in southeast Nebraska. I'm researching Turner, Fairchild, Mahan, Waters, Pollard, Stockman, Woodruff, Kellogg, Kelly, McCall, Gunderson, Harnett, Spurway, Woodbeck, Squires, Kuk, and Greene, to name a few. |
Find-a-grave has been very helpful in my family research. I love helping others find out more about their families, too.
I have entered people who are not related to me so just send me a transfer request and I will gladly transfer to you if you are a close or distant related family member of their's.
I believe that a relative's memorial should be with family, not with strangers. I believe that these memorials need to be with people who knew and loved them.
Please use the "edit" button on the memorial when you are requesting a transfer or sending corrections.

|Marilyn Martin||re: Clinton Pioneer Cemetery|
I can help you out with the name of the Saul child that is unreadable. Her name was Sarah Isobel Saul
She was born Mar. 28, 1881 at 70 Mile House
Died July 5, 1883 at Clinton
I am a descendent of Eliza Saul Doyle who was the older sister of
John, William and Isaac Saul.
Isaac was the only one who was married and he was the father of
Sarah Isobel Saul and Robert James Saul.
|bbphar||Charlotte Ann "Lottie" (Moses) Stockman|
A cousin I found while doing genealogical research has sent me the photo of Charlotte Stockman now posted on her memorial page with his blessing. I don't know what year it was taken. Thanks so much for documenting her gravesite.

|bbphar||RE: Stockman memorials|
You're welcome--and thanks of your memorials for the Stockmans. They adopted my great-grandmother, Grace Elizabeth Dixon,
about 1872. Family story is that her parents died in an accident. Also that her father was related to Morris Stockman, but I haven't yet been able to identify the connection or find her birth parents. Grace named two of her children after the Stockmans: her daughter, my grandmother, was named Lottie Ann. One of Grace's sons was named Morris Jackson (he was killed in France in WW1).

There is no name plaque for Melvin yet, but this is a photo of the actual location. If you want me to look again in a couple of months, I'd be happy to see if one has been installed then, just email me.

Thank you for the offer to transfer, but I am only related through marriage. His wife was my relative.
|Brian J. Schifferdecker||RE: James Quigley|
