RE: Thersa Huffman
You are welcome! Her marker is under a tree, I actually had to go back in the late afternoon to retake it. The first time it was in the shade and I couldn't read it.

I was mistaken about how close she was to Lucinda, they are in the same block, but not really close. She was the wife of Capt. P.A. Huffman, 17th Ind. Vol., and had recently moved here from Winfield Ks.

George Ann Brooksby
THANK YOU, Delna!

I had the death date right, but thought I had misunderstood when the obituary came out, so changed it. Now it is changed back.

I live on the South Shore of Lake Superior, so I didn't attend George Ann's funeral. Do you know if Keith Brooksby attended? I remember him from FHS, and George Ann filled in some of the years for me since I saw him last.

I know George Ann the same way I know you! I have contacted you a few times through Facebook and email. We were all classmates at Fredonia High School, only George Ann and I had kept in touch. I visited her and Kendall when I was in Kanab in May 2014. Tootie Shook Adair came over while I was there -- we are Facebook friends, too. I have relatives in Kanab. George Ann helped me with Linda Frazier's dad's memorial. He was the first person to perish during the building of Glen Canyon Dam. George Ann and I shared a passion for history and genealogy. Then it was George Ann who let me know why I wasn't hearing back from Edith Blattman -- she sent me Edie's obituary. I kept in touch with Edie, too, and visited her a number of times.

Troy Johnston was my uncle. He was a Senior at FHS in 1958 when I was a Freshman.

Hoping to hear from you again!

THANK YOU! GOD BLESS YOU!

In our Lord Jesus' Love,
In love with our Lord Jesus,
The Resurrection and The Life,
Donna

RE: William Cross
I probably wont be back to the Strathroy library till the 24th of September. I'll let you know when I find anything. If you find more folks who died in the Strathroy area you would like obituaries for let me know and I will be glad to look for more obituaries for you.
Good luck on your research.

RE: William Cross
Your welcome. William and Agnes Cross has got my curiosity going. Would it be ok if I tried to find an obituary for them? I would post it on there memorial if you would like it.

RE: Sarah Huffman
You are very welcome Sarah. If you find she is in the other location please drop me a note. I'd be happy to get a picture for you. I'm in the Kingfisher, Dover, Hennesse area quite a bit and would be glad to help out.

Best regards,
Harvey

You are welcome. It seems like a lot of babies have no headstone, especially when the family moves on.

RE: Huffman
Hi Delna, I just recently discovered your message. I have the book "Cemeteries of Crestline (Crawford County), Ohio--burials to May 1998."
Mariah Ann Peppard's parents are listed as Nathan Huffman and Electa (not Electra) Parrott. If you wish I could mail you copies of pertinent pages listing any of her family contained in it.
I thank you again for the photos of Mariah "Rye" and David Peppard that you sent me in the past; I never had any of those before!
