I am a descendant of 1630ish Puritan New England ancestors on my Mom's side and Revolutionary War-era Scotch-Irish and German ancestors on my Dad's side. Ancestors of both sides had descendants who were my ancestors who homesteaded in Kansas in the 1870's in Cloud and Ottawa counties.

Some of my ancestral names from Kansas pioneers are: Dad's Side - Cloud County > Taylor, Millirons, Earhart, Johnston, Beatty, and Feather. Mom's Side - Ottawa County > Baldwin, Fisher, Hallock and Pollock. Other New England ancestors on Mom's side are too numerous to list here.
