My name is Bethany Crow. I am almost 19 years old and I live in Northwest Arkansas. I have recently started researching my family history. I have discovered that I am a direct descendant of the founder of the tiny town of Headlee, Indiana and that my great great grandpa (Newton Asbury Walker) was captured in the Battle of Vicksburg in the Civil War. My great grandpa (Jesse Walker) was a fairly well know moonshiner in Paulding County, Georgia.

Most of my family lives in Georgia, Indiana, Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas. I haven't done much research on my dad's side of the family, but in my mom's (the one's in Georgia, Indiana, and Arkansas) the surnames of my ancestors include: Rodgers, Walker, Miller, Headlee, Haines, Fordyce, Blackmon, Griffen, Carney, and Terwilliger.
