Part of the Illinois/Nebraska clan that started in York County Pennsylvania (1740's) as Cremer/Cramer, later Somerset County, moved on to Ohio then Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska and finally to all points on the compass. I am one of the many great grandsons of Jeremiah M. Cremer. I'm retired. How else would anyone have time for all of this?
If you find I've made an error, as I'm sure that I have, please let me know so that a correction can be made. I will gladly transfer any Memorial that isn't family or possibly a really close friend. If the latter, just plead your case and if you're 'family' to them (or a really close friend), you'll most likely win.
If you wish to use my photographs for non commercial purposes, please do. A simple citation regarding the source would be appreciated. I straighten, crop and play with the contrast & color of my photographs when needed to make them presentable. Photos taken of standing markers at 45-60 degree 'overhead' vantages make me groan a little, since the inscriptions are often difficult to read, please bend the knees a little?
I have enlisted the help of the local historical societies to check the connections with Barvas and Ness. This may take some time, as they are all volunteers with full-time jobs. Either I, or one of those good folk, will get back to you in the next few days or weeks.
Thanks for sharing your info on find a grave. I am a cousin to Ora Minnie Moore Wells and am wondering if you are kin to them. I am looking for a photo of Ora. I have all of her sibling photo's in my tree and trying to find someone who has a photo of Ora. Again, thanks so much for all the hard work.
