Bio

For many years, I've been compiling family histories and currently have six histories varying in length.

It started when my mother died and I "inherited" a shoebox of old newspaper clippings of births, marriages, deaths, anniversaries and articles of interest.

As I sorted thru the clippings (some dating back to the early 1900's), I began to see how all the people I'd heard my mother and father talk about fit into the picture. My interest was then piqued to start searching on the internet to fill in the blanks and while it has been a time consuming process, it truly has been a rewarding one.

A paternal aunt left a spiral notebook with all kinds of interesting information, dates of births, deaths, marriages, children born to the unions and even the names of the dogs of some. She, too, provided much towards my search.

For historical accuracy, I prepared a form which was sent to the eldest family member living and asked them to complete all the data for their siblings/family. The responses were overwhelming. I am forever grateful to all who did this because I know the information is accurate.
