Bio and Links
Bio Photo Forty-Five some years ago I served in Vietnam and for whatever reason I now feel compelled to find photographs of all 401 men in my unit that were "killed in action". I still have about 28 men to locate and bring back home. We need not only to remember their names but also never forget their faces. If you are interested in these men and the unit in which they served then you can click on the link below:

RE: George Guerra
Thanks for your work on behalf of the families of these men. I lost about 25% of my high school graduation class to Vietnam. Reunions always have a place for these men to be especially remembered. We wondered what they might have become, if given the same chance that the rest of us had.
America is free but it came at a very high price. Service men and women should always be respected by a grateful nation. Thanks again for your service. Marcia CCTX

PFC Sam W. Stewart

I see that you have requested a picture of Sam's headstone/marker. Although I am not claiming your request, I wanted to forward you information on where you can get his obituary.
sam's obituary was in The Huntsville Times, published: Tuesday, February 27, 1968, page 14, column 5.
You can request a copy from our local library at this address -
You never know, it might have a bit of information in it that you might have not known.
Good luck with your search,

RE: George Patrick Rogers
Hi David,

I know you have some info on George Rogers buried in the Gettysburg National Cemetery. I am continuing my research on the burials here, and found that his brother, Stephen C. Rogers, is buried here also, a few feet away, in the same section. He was an SP 4 in Co. C, 22nd Infantry, 4th Division in the Army. I can't seem to find anything more on him: Where he died, etc. It says he died from wounds or an injury while on active duty. All I have for a resource is Maybe you could find more info on him? All I found I have posted on his memorial page.

Best Regards,

RE: Terry Albright
I'm so glad I could help. I'm up in WV visiting my grandma and she remembered going to Terry's funeral. My father was also in Vietnam and both my parents served in the Air Force so I have a lot of respect for veterans. When I saw your note on the request, I made sure it was a priority while on my trip up here. I'm so happy I could help out and I wish you luck with your project.

That is all the information I have. It came for the volunteered survey of Sunny Lane cemetery. You might try the SSDI or the Find a Military Grave website at

My husband was in Vietnam too. He was Brown Water Navy - 70, 71 & 72. Thank you for your service and welcome home!
