RE: Loriston Monroe Fairbanks photo
The pictures are over 100 years old; therefore, they are in the public domain with no copyright restrictions. I got them from the Ohio State Library Website.

Please feel free to download the photo for your family tree. And if you want I am happy to transfer the memorial to you, if you are a family member.
Just send me a message to that effect.

RE: Stephen E Stansbery connection to me
So, we are not exactly related but shirt-tail relatives, as my grandmother would say.

Lucetta Stansbery (1861 - 1936) married John Foster (1852 - 1900).
Their oldest son was Arthur Loyd Foster(1886 - 1979). His oldest son was Arthur Lee Foster (1921 - 1996). I am the second son of Arthur Lee Foster. I have a lot on the Stansbery's waaaay back.

I have a lot of holes in the Foster side. I did not have any information about George Foster other than he was born in Canada soon after the family emigrated from England. They then went to Rock County, Wisconsin and from there to Portland, somewhere around 1950 to 1852. The last child of John Foster and Ann Elizabeth (unknown) to be born in Wisconsin was Hannah in 1850. Then John was born in Oregon in 1852.

Do you have any other details about George or any of the Fosters? There were other siblings in that generation that I know nothing about.

Actually, my notes say that Grant Foster was the son of the eldest sibling, Robert Foster, who was born in Canada in 1841. I could be wrong since most of my Foster information comes from the net. What source to you have Grant being the son of George?

RE: Stephen E Stansbery gravestone photo
You may certainly use the photos you mention for your family tree.
How are you related in the Stansbery family? These are my people, too! I am descended from Stephen Edward Stansbery's older sister, Lucetta.
