I have been involved with researching genealogy for 40+ years (on and off). Unfortunately, when I first started to research genealogy, there were not many relatives interested, so information was not easily obtained. Though, I did manage to get a few small family stories. I guess my relatives realized that I was not going to give up easily. Thank goodness, the internet has so many thousands of records available for searching.

On-going research of my paternal & maternal lines:

Sheehan -Ireland > England > Canada
Walker - Scotland > Canada

All other family names within my direct maternal and paternal lineages;

Fleetwood - England > Canada
Kapitain - ??? > France > Canada
Ketchum - England > U.S.A. > Canada
Waddick _ Ireland > Canada
Wiggins - England > U.S.A. > Canada

Other Direct lineages will be researched as they are completed.

Other Allied Families I am searching are:

Eriksen - Denmark > Canada
Crane - ??? > Canada > USA > Canada
Elliott - England > Canada
The allied family list will grow as I complete my main family research interests.

The Kapitain and Sheehan surnames have proven to be the most difficult of my journeys.
