I am doing my family genealogy on all sides, but I do it off and on. I tend to hit brick walls, since a lot of my information is located outside of the United States. My relatives are only a couple of generations here. But, I like a challenge, so I do keep going with it.

I am now retired, live in Arizona and plan on traveling to different places to help close up some of my family history gaps and get answers to some questions. However, when time permits, as I visit family in different parts of the United States, I will try and help with photo requests.

While visiting family in southern Texas (2018 & 2020), the Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, where my in-laws are buried, did not have many photos - so I decided to try and photograph as many markers as I could. On this last trip I was able to take a few thousand photos, I will go through the photo requests and try and get those posted before adding memorials. Unfortunately, I did not get all the cemetery photographed. Hopefully next trip, I can get the rest finished.

I am not as active as other members, I don't have or manage tons of memorials - but I am willing to take photos and help others in any way that I can. I am also willing to transfer memorials.

The names of families that I am researching are Myroup/Mierop, Steenbergen, Brown (I know, I have a lot of work ahead with that one), Gonzalez (again a very common name), Turgeon & Lapierre.
