I became involved in this when I was off on medical leave. I enjoy it more than I thought I would. I do this mainly because I'm into pleasing people. I try to take care of picture requests for the Parsons, Ks. and surrounding cemeteries.I spend a lot of time walking the cemeteries and getting information and photos for the memorials. I do not believe I "own" the photographs I take nor do I feel I have a copyright on them! I just don't get that philosophy, but, like I said, everyone has their own thoughts on why they contribute to FAG. I do not volunteer to do this for "credit" in any form—I am doing it to help other genealogists as they search for their ancestor's final resting places. It is always absolutely fine with me if you use any and all photos I have taken for your ancestry.com trees or personal family trees and you do not need to give any credits to me. It has always been my idea that if we, as genealogists, do not share our discoveries and work as one big family, we are just making it harder to complete our own personal history books. As far as transfers, if you are a relative of any degree or just someone "special" to the deceased, I will gladly transfer unless they are also my own relative. I love everything historical and Find-A-Grave is a wonderful gift to us wanting to preserve history. Happy hunting! btw... I wanted to bring new attention to the virtual cemeteries that I have created. They are fellow class members of the 1970's Parsons High School USD503 Kansas |

Thank you so much for your efforts to locate the grave of Sarah Scott. It seemed very reasonable that she was buried at Spring Hill. I was sure you were going to find her tombstone. However, not finding it is almost as valuable. Again, thank you for your efforts. I am going to delete the memorial until I'm able to find a more definitive location.

Thanks so much for the photo. It is so nice to be able to connect with photos that you would probably never get to see otherwise. I try to upload all that I have. And take photos of all grave yards I am revisiting to help others. Really appreciate you taking the time. Ky friend. Melody

|Lisa (Ellis) Ogdahl||thank you|
What you have done here is wonderful. I happen to come across this when I was looking for information on 35th reunion for the class of 1979. I did look thru classmates of 1976 - 1981. you may have intended this for genealogy but you have done much more than that, You have brought back memories of friends and classmates I was not aware that had died. I went thru so many different emotions..... but in the end....they may be gone, but not forgotten. thank you for bringing memories of days gone by, awesome people that left this world way to soon.
Thank you so much for your photos. Cynthia
