I found his son's resting place. His Find A Grave memorial number is 144125992
I will link Stewart as the father then.

I can it wasn't the same person lol I feel like a moron now but the dates I am sure are correct as I did the research and found her thinking it was the right one. I am sorry about the confusion.
Thank you so much for the transfer, it is greatly appreciated. :-)
Oops, sorry. Mine is #47079039 :-)
You're very welcome. I didn't link them though because I noticed you had said that she was the wife of george. But that her dob was the same/around the same yr as his dod. So I figured he was her father in law or father. Have a great day.

Thank you so much for looking this up...I realize he was killed in battle, but thought maybe because someone came up with this cemetery, that there was a memorial or something there..Sincerely, Janet

I complete understand, Judy. I can't remember where I got all my links, cause I have been doing this for over 40 years. I used to go to the National Archives in Seattle, but now we can do much of this on line. This information is what I have. I am, too, a family member, but very distant. I wish you well
