Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am Hannah Metzker Kepple and live in Hopewell Township, Pa. I was born and grew up in Roaring Spring, Pa. Roaring Spring is part of Morrisons' Cove where my family ancestors settled. My family extends into many names, starting with Johannes Metzger, my immigrant ancestor. He had several daughters who married into the Brumbaugh Family. From there it has extended into many other names. If you think you may also go back to Johannes Metzger of Morrisons' Cove, I would be happy to share information. Now retired, my husband like to go out and walk thru cemeteries and work on my latest project.

Hi Hannah, I just found out that Edward Kepple memorial # 70471070, had a daughter that died before her second birthday, her name was Grace Pearl Kepple born 4 Aug 1897 and died 11 Feb 1899. Her memorial page was created by Michelle Find A Grave # 46955048, I have a message out to her as I have a photo of her headstone and would like to post it. I would also like you ifn you would to connect her to her parents.Grace Pearl Kepple's memorial # is 86356937.
Best Regards

Hannah...the cemetery I am looking for is at Jerusalem Christian Church in Warfordsburg or Amaranth. Thanks for any help you can give as to location. I did find a lead...old route 126. Do you know if this is the right one?

Mr. Parrish's given name was Clem Garland Smith. I knew him when I was in junior high school. He was my music teacher. I lost track of him and then found out about the name change. Apparently he grew up on the farm adjacent to the cemetery.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Hannah:

I saw that you had added a picture of Mr. Parrish's grave marker. I knew him many years ago. This summer I plan to be in Fulton County I am having trouble finding an address for the cemetery. Would you happen to know exactly where it is located? Thanks for your help.

RE: Baltzer Mellott

I think we both are talking about 2 different dates! His DOB, according to his death certificate, #26812, was 21 Oct 1873. On FindAGrave, his DOB is annotated as 1874. Thank you for changing the DOD previously. I appreciate your cooperation - I probably didn't make myself clear and for that I apologize. Thanks, Hannah!

RE: Catharine Rhodes Estright
Hi Hannah, hope you and your family are all doing well. Your question about Catherine Rhodes has stomp me for the past 20 years, but a lady who contacted me yesterday lives in Duncanville, Pa. is part of that family, I'll let you know as soon as I do.

Thanks for contacting me.

Donald Veatch
Elizabeth (Veatch) Kessel Cooper
Hello Hannah :

I just created a memorial #139479100 in Mt Union for the subject lady based on her death certificate, as I was tracing back to her father Jesse Veatch in Grubb cemetery. As I was cross-checking data, I noticed that there was already a memorial, but for Elizabeth Kissel (not Cooper)with the exact same dates (memorial #60791651). This is the first time I have seen a certificate be wrong as compared to the actual headstone. I already have her linked to her correct parents.

I am open for suggestions as to what we should do.

Thank You !

hi my grandfather is Russell Harry Hartman
And I'm trying to find any info I can about a set of twin boys he fathered in Germany around 1945-46.
We knew nothing of their existence till my grandmother mentioned it on her death bed, they were born to a young German woman and we know only that they were twins & boys...I'm sure you won't possibly know how to find them but I'm hoping maybe you know of someway I could track down info about it.....thank you very much:)
I'm also going to upload a photo of my grandpa in his military uniform he was so young and handsome, I never met him as my dad ( his oldest of 5 children born to his wife) was only 6 when he lost his father:(
Thanks in advance for any advice or help you may be able to offer!!

George Hann
Hi Hannah, I came across something and wanted to bring it to your attention. On Find A Grave Memorial# 59782995 for George R Hann, it lists his parents as Charles A Karns and Jennie Karns. However, the 1910 census on family search lists him as a son in law living with Charles and Jennie Karns. His wife Mary is Charles and Jennie's daughter. Thanks.
