My name is Sheila Burgess Garrett, I was born and raised in Vicksburg, Michigan. I now reside in Olivet, Michigan with my husband Mike of 40 years. I was elected the Mayor of Galesburg in November of 2010, becoming the first female Mayor of this City, and relinquesed my title in November 2012 due to some major health issues I was going through. My husband and I moved in with my youngest son and daughter-in-law in December of 2012 - now I have lots of Grave hunting time..|
I love doing Genealogy, I want to leave my two sons and 7 Grand children with lots of info pertaining to there ancestors.
My families include the following,
Burgess, Hallam, Pace, Eagley, Cooper, Hodgman, Kaiser, Stillwell, Stockwell, Horton, Garrett, Robbins, Handy, Wright, and a few others..
And yes I have probably missed a few - and if I can help anyone please send an e-mail..
Thanks for all who have shared before me..

The picture on the memorial is for B.H. Shepard. Would you move it to the correct memorial please?

I respectfully request verification on Find A Grave Memorial# 20384864, since the headstone photo provided reads: MARY LENDRA. The balance of the stone is illegible in this photo.

Thank you for the photos! And also thank for for trying to find out where the others were buried by checking with the cemetery office! This is greatly appreciated. If there's no stone/marker but the burial location is known, will it be okay for you to take the photo of that plot and indicate that's where the relative(s) are buried. Thank you again so much! It is folks like you who make a wonderful difference!
