Another Gore question So then, again out of curiosity, how or why was this particular family chosen?? Also-----I would like to see some information about Abe Gore added to his memorial. Can you assist with this?
Gore memorials Norma, you did a real good job of memorializing the Gore family. Do you have a particular connection or interest in this family? I ask only out of curiosity. You've saved me a lot of searching. Great job.
Edwitjes Sanchez I can't thank you enough for this photo. I'm not the one who requested it but I've been looking for this woman, who is my great-great grandmother for many years. This is the first I'm finding out how her name was spelled. I was wondering if you could tell me who requested the photo? Also, is the information transcribed from the photo regarding her date of death, was that information you input from what was on the gravestone? I'm only wondering because the date is not discernible and I want to make sure I've got the dates correct. Anyway, thank you again so much.
Yes I found it the other day, but because I made some other links regarding the family, I couldn't make this one yet.
I'm assuming the one that's in the hopper is regarding the relationship.
My involvement with the Ruby/Moore family came about because of my search for Willie Holltorf. I can't imagine how many hours I spent trying to track him down. the only connection I had was the Ruby family. so I have all this info on them and I'm not even related to any of them except Anna.
I certainly do appreciate the assistance you gave me. I treasure the pictures that I rec'd due to your efforts.
RE: A J Lent Hello Norma, I'm not quite sure what you are asking of me. Mary was Albert (A Jackson Lent)was his first wife. Together they had eleven children with Stephen Tobias Lent being the first. My direct ancestor is their son Ira Frank Lent (1854-1936). I can find no marriage certificate but I have a couple census records that show they were married and a death record with Mary's maiden name also.
