If you have a better picture than I do, feel free to add it and I will delete mine. Also, if you have any photographs that you would like to add, or any corrections to be made, I welcome them! Even though the transcripts that I have been adding have been in Canada, I live in California so can't help take any pictures or visit these locations. I will gladly do transfers, unless it is someone that I am closely related to.|
I have added some 1990 transcripts for Coningsby Cem in Erin Twp., Wellington County, Ontario to FAG. Some of the older headstones are badly crumbled and can no longer be read, so not everyone that is buried there could be added.
I have added an old PARTIAL transcript for Dixon's Union Cemetery, Chinguacousy Township, Peel County, Ontario. Everything that I have has been added.
Sept. 2012 - I have a partial transcript for Batteau (sometimes spelled Batteaux) Hill Cemetery, Simcoe County, Ontario that I have added (about 200 names). Someone else may be adding more people to this cemetery at a later time.
April 2013 - I have added transcripts for St. Andrew's Cemetery, Watson's Corner, Lanark County, Ontario. I have noticed a lot of mistakes in this transcript--a husband is 100 years older than his wife, the person is on the index but I can't find a headstone, or they have a headstone but are not on the index, etc.
May 2013 - I have added transcripts for St. Mary's Cemetery, Collingwood, Simcoe County, Ontario. I don't have anyone from my lines buried there, and don't really know anything about this particular cemetery.
June 2013 - I added transcripts for Zion Cemetery, Amabel Twp, Bruce County, Ontario. There were lots of mistakes in these transcripts so please let me know about any needed changes.
June 2014 - Many thanks to R. Baufeldt for taking over 100 headstone pictures at Dixon's Union Cemetery in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. I added the photographs (and memorial pages when needed).

Yes go ahead and transfer the rest of the McArthurs to me.
|Oh look, a chicken!||RE: Cook Line|
My stepson is related to the Cooks, his grandmother was Phyllis Cook McDougall. I haven't worked that line very much, all I know really is that there are a number of Cooks in the Phoenix NY area he is related to. I'm sorry I'm not more helpful than that, haveca good day!
I added the bio. Let me know if you want anyone transferred from that cemetery, I'm related to only very few and not Hans.
|MPotvin||RE: Potvin Edit|
Thank you for getting back so quickly. Edward was the brother of my Great Grandfather Pierre Potvin. His Birth name was Edouard Monpetit and we knew he was buried at St. Mary's in Collingwood. Two of his brother's children are buried at St. Mary's Edidth ( Edith) an infant of 9 months, died in 1880 and George Edward 1889 ( 5 years old when he drowned)
Edith has a stone but we think George was buried beside her but the family did not place a headstone to mark his grave.
I am very grateful for your information as it helps in the building of our family history.
