A word about updates: unless there is a "primary document" citation, we generally don't create family links for folks that we do not know first hand. Such a citation would be (just as examples, but far from all-inclusive) from a birth certificate, death certificate, church records, census records, et cetera. Records created by word-of-mouth (for example, census records) are generally far less reliable than records created by dispassionate third-party observers (e.g. hospital birth certificates).
