I live in Slidell, Louisiana and has been interested in searching for family and going to cemeteries to take pictures of headstones. I find it amazing at some of the old headstones. I am working on my husband's family tree and has been fun while it still continues. We have a family cemetery in Pearl River called Porter Cemetery. If anyone has family members buried in Pearl River & Slidell, St. Tammany Parish or Pearl River & Hancock Counties area and would like pictures of headstones please feel free to contact me.

My husband family members that I am searching are: McKean, Porter, Auderer, Winzor and many more...

John T. Feeley
Hi, I wonder if you have any information about John T. Feeley born in 1900 and buried in Parker Cemetery. I'm trying to determine if he was a relative. Thank you!

Kenmar Family
Sorry to bother you again. I read your message and am hoping you can help me.

I have been looking for a cousin for some time now. Her name is Emelda Kenmar. She was married to Lawson Kenmar. It may be spelled Kenmore in some places.

I'm not sure when she passed away. I have been told she is buried somewhere in Pearl River but I'm not sure where.

Her husband's information is as follows:

Lawson Huey Kenmar
DOB 08-23-1904
Died Nov 1972 - found this on ancestry.

Emelda was born around 1910. My grandmother and her father were brother and sister. Both are deceased. My parents are as well so I am just going by memory trying to find her.

I have a family tree on Ancestry and would like to add her information as well as creating a memorial for her on Find A Grave.

She and Lawson had two children (to my knowledge) a son named Huey and a daughter. I'm not sure what her name is.

If any of this sounds familiar to anything you have seen please let me know. You may contact me directly at Thank you so very much.

Joseph Seruntine
I took a photo of a vault at St. Louis Cemetery #3. It has only Joseph Seruntine Family. Guessing it is your family but suggest that you call the cemetery to verify. If it is your family, I can upload the photo to his link or just email it to you.

thank you
Thank you for posting the photo of my ggrandmother's husband gravestone. It has allowed us to add her death date to the double grave marker. Her birthdate was only on the marker. We knew she purchased a marker, but not where. We now have had her death date added. She's not buried there(she was cremated), but she did purchase the plots and stonemarker after her husband died.

Victoria Adeline Henley
Hello, I am a descendant of Burrell Perry Henley and Victoria Adeline Nelson Henley. Their daughter Louraney Victoria married Thomas Jackson Mitchell, who had Roena Victoria. Roena married Ed C. Burton and had Clara Lou who is my great grandmother.

Do you know anything about Victoria? I show in my information that her father was from Sweden, but I am not sure of that. It seems like perhaps she had a sister that married one of Burrell's brothers.

I think her husband Burrell is buried in the Penton Cemetery off George Ford Road in Carriere, but that is on private land and I haven't inquired of the owner if I can see it yet.

Would love to hear from you.
