Okay ... I didn't know. I just see that she had children with that last name Patnaude and thought maybe she was. You seem to be family and know, but I thought that I'd mention it and figured that you'd know and figure it out. I didn't realize that her memorial number was listed in the "subject" area and tried to find her doing a search of "Stella DeLong" and still her name did not come up. I'm sure that it is because there are three names listed in there as her maiden name. Thanks. God bless.

I think she was married to a Mr. Patnaude too. Just thought you might want to know. Thanks.

Hey ... you might want to take out all those names in the "maiden name" bracket for Stella and add them to the last name, if you must, or leave the last names off ... except her last name at the time of her death. When someone searches for her using her maiden name, they could not find it with all those maiden names listed. I just did a search trying to find her by her maiden name, and it did not show up on the search because of all those names listed. The obit lists her husbands, and I think that is good enough. Her memorials shows that she was married to those men and once had their last name. I used to think it was a good idea to list all of the last names that a woman had in her lifetime in the "name" edit too, then a seasoned Find A Grave member pointed out to me that it confuses the search, and the name will never be found that way. Just thought I'd point it out to you. Thank you ... and God bless ...

If you read my profile I do not transfer or make changes to memorials by using my comment wall. If you would like some one transferred to you, use the edit tab on each memorial page, then go to corrections and tell me why you want the transfer and make sure you include your find a grave number in your request. I do not go looking for find a grave numbers to make the transfer. I want all memorials that I transfer to get to the right person, this is why I don't transfer from the comment page. I have no problems transferring memorials as long as I am not related.

I have spent over 20 years trying to find my great grandfather's sister. All I had was an obituary - dated Feb. 1938 - in which Marie was listed as his sister in Grand Forks. Her 2 sons, John & Joseph, accompanied her to Frank Novotny's funeral in Silver Lake, MN.

Thanks for your hard work - It made mine easier!

I have recently photographed the newly laid gravestone for "Antiny Kopecky" 1873 - 8/9/1907.
A philanthropic group paid for about 300 tombstones for the Fergus Falls State Hospital Cemetery. I am taking photos of the graves, while they all look nice.
I would be happy to send you a copy of the photo for your records. AND I would love to know who his parents where. . . any ideas?
Thanks for the help.
