Bio and Links
Bio Photo Working on the Seaney family history for 40 years. I never stop looking for connections.

I make every effort to connect siblings, parents, spouses and in-laws on my memorials.

In 2005 & 2006 I did a report on the Seaney Cemetery in Crawford Co., Illinois. I surveyed, photographed, uncovered buried headstones, repaired broken headstones and discovered unknown graves. A copy of this report is in the genealogy sections of the libraries in Robinson and Flat Rock. I will be putting the entire cemetery on Find A Grave with photos of each grave so you don't have to travel to Crawford County.

If you also need a map of the cemetery I made several versions showing every stone, unmarked graves and family groups. Just contact me for a copy.

RE: Please do NOT ~
And you apparently can't find any other way to make contact?

Please do NOT ~
~ leave a contact message by leaving a flower and a not on my memorials! That is absolutely no way to contact Find A Grave members, since no e-mails are sent to the member when such a flower/note is left.

Today I managed to see two notes you left me, one in 2013 and one in 2015, and if I hadn't gone to the memorials themselves, I'd never have seen the notes.

Anyway, no, I have no known close biological relationship to the Seaney memorial that I've set up in Tennessee, and other than what was put into the memorials, I have no additional information to share.

RE: Grandson To Owen Seaney

I'm trying to iron out issues with our family tree on I'll be glad to share it so we can compare notes. My oldest son, Darren, worked on it quite a bit a few years ago. We had a few issues on the 1700's with 'looping' parent and children with the same name.

Let me know if you would like anything shared online. I can setup a web site, etc.

Thank you for the marriage information for Elizabeth and Marion Griffy. I think that it is amazing a couple would marry while the civil war was being fought.
