Born October 28, 1954 at Samaritan Hospital in Macon Mo. (Family living in Bevier,MO.)

Father: William Robert (Willie) Cross
Mother: Nellie Margaret Dawson

Including myself, William & Nellie had 7 children (5 boys, 2 girls)

Myself: Lived in Bevier, Mo. since birth.
Education: 1-8 Bevier C-4
High School: Bevier High School 4 yrs.
NMSU (name changed later to Truman
State - 2 yrs.
Occupation: Since 1973 with Burlington Northern R.R. which merged with Santa Fe R.R. to form BNSF Railway

One thing that has really struck me when I started checking the family tree is how so many different individuals down through the years from so many parts of the country and from other countries can meet, marry, have children and end up with one single individual.

Any photos i may post here at Find A Grave, I consider them to be available for anyone to use in what manner they wish (to copy, download, or use on their memorial pages, personal family trees,to share, etc.)

The only thing I ask is that it not be for profit but rather for helping each other in your search for family.

I would be glad to transfer management of any memorials I have posted if anyone has a relationship or a closer relationship than what I have, just ask.

RE: Elnora Tabor - Additional Information
Hi Norman,
Aunt Elnora Tabor was actually married 3 times. Her first husband was James Sportsman, married in Marceline, Missouri on August 11, 1932. They had one son named James Sportsman who only lived to be about seven. In 1932 she married a man named Mr. Long and that’s about all I know about that one. Later on June 12, 1939 in Independence, Jackson County, Missouri she married Francis D. “Monk” England.
This Elnora Tabor is one in the same and was one of five children of George Elmer and Addie (Wright) Tabor. The Lorene Herriman that you speak of was the first born of this family. Also my father-in-law, Wilford Lee “Bill” Tabor was the last to be born. Any other information you may desire please let me know.

Rose Lene Fihler
Hi Norman,

Rose Lene was my cousin's grandmother. I'm trying to help her build her family tree because she isn't that experienced in family research, yet.

She didn't know about Rose's second marriage, but we could proof it correct because my cousin found her death certificate in a box her mother left. Her second marriage name was Fihler, not Fisher. My cousin's grandfather Milo McNabb married again, too. His second marriage is nowhere to find online either at the moment.

Regards
Sue

RE: CharleneCharlene Blanche Lueck Mitchell 1932-1989
Hello Mr. Cross, I am sorry to say I have checked my records and could not find any information on Charlene Lueck Mitchell past the 1940 census. Good Luck with your research.

Hancock
Thanks for the info. on Cleo Hancock. I have been looking for her obit, to get her death date, but so far have not been able to find it. I got the birth date and death month from Social Security Death INdex.

I found the thank you from the family, after the funeral, in the Moberly Monitor Index, but no obit.
Seems like it should be there.
Thanks again,
Patty

RE: Rose Lene Fihler - Morris Cemetery
Sorry but I don't know where I got her last name as Fisher. I only know of the one marriage to Mr. Fihler. I have corrected her last name in the bio. area of her father's memorial to match her obit. Thanks for catching this one for me. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, Farm Girl from MO.

Vestal photo
Mr. Cross- my apologies, I was visiting antioch cemetery in Macon Co. Today and saw your photo request for Toleman Vestal and attached it here, but I believe it was the wrong Toleman. I have asked for it to be deleted. I looked for your other photo requests but was not successful. Many of the stones are illegible or missing.
