My husband and I started researching our families 8 years ago. Most of the research has been in Berks County PA where we live, but we have spent time researching in Schuylkill, Columbia and Lehigh Counties also. We have found that cemetery stones have been helpful. We started taking photos of the stones of possible family members because we could refer to them at a later date as we acquire more information without returning to the cemetery. We have connected members of the family long after we took the suspect photo. We appreciate the work of others who have added photos and hope the photos we have added will help others.
