Bio

Guitar playing librarian fan of rock'n'roll, rockabilly, blues, honky tonk, punk rock and some sludgy doom metal. Enjoy taking photographs of live music and cemeteries. I have a bachelors degree in history but that was all writing. While I started out haveing not done much genealogy, I have recently caught the bug. I also really enjoy graving. Die hard Chicago White Sox fan, it's in the blood.

I found Find A Grave while searching for famous graves, especially those of Chicago Blues musicians. I have since started looking for the Irish side of my family. Madden > Cooney > Birmingham. In doing so I found the names Kelly, O'Shea, Keyes, and Casey on the Madden side.

I have recently made a breakthrough on the Birmingham side. Fyfe, Hults, Deufel, Smith, Kullerstrand, Quinn, Gerber, Grace...

I wish I didn't have to write this below, but...
I don't have a problem with the use of my photos on Find A Grave or elsewhere, I just ask that you ask first as stated in the Find A Grave FAQ:

"Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere would be a violation of copyright. You must obtain written permission from the member to use any photo for your own use. In general if you did not take the photo yourself, you do not hold the copyright to the photo."

Thank you.
