If you do not have your messages enabled or an email address to which I can respond don't expect an answer. This is a more common than I ever thought it could be. |
The discrepancy between our added and managed memorials result from taken over some memorials from a fallen graver.
TRANSFERS: PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB TO REQUEST TRANSFERS. BWE VERY SELDOM RESPOND TO EMAIL AND MESSAGE REQUESTS.
If we have management of your relatives site and you would like to have it transferred to you please let us know and we will transfer it to you. Please also include your relationship to the person you are requesting transferred.
If you want a transfer outside of the guidelines, I will trade you. This is my attempt to stop requests from those who are just trying to get their numbers up with random requests.
Also note that if your request is abrupt, demanding or in any way construed to be unpleasant, you will not hear from us.. We have grown very tired of this type of request.
The exception of course to a transfer is that if it is our direct relative we would be inclined to keep it ourselves.
As far as the pictures and information we enter on Find A Grave, feel free to use it for any Non Commercial purpose. We have no desire to try to control its usage or be credited for it. If it is for a commercial purpose, please contact us first.
I photo document large areas and do not strive for quality when I am just gathering pictures to make memorials from... I do post some of these photos, but will willingly remove them for a better photo if you have one...
PLEASE use the Edit tab located at the top right for corrections, additional information or to request transfers.

|Tim & Grace||Elizabeth Mara (Cooper)(Besse) Shafer in Mountain View Memorial Park|
Thank you for transferring the memorial for Elizabeth Mara (Cooper)(Besse) Shafer in Mountain View Memorial Park to me. It states that she is in Locust section, so she is probably buried in the same lot with her daughter, Estelle Margaret (Besse) Butler and husband Audley Butler.
I have submitted photo requests and hope to get a "plot shot" that shows where they are buried in relation to each other.
Sincerely, Tim Cooper

You are welcome. Glad I could help. It felt good to get out for a walk early in the morning today when the air was still fresh and cool.

She is my cousin's relative. I've sent some links...but just let the system do the updates in about 24 days I think it is.
Good to hear from you and so glad you are keeping busy with things you really enjoy doing. Totally understand.
Traveling around is what we retiree's should be doing and you are lucky enough to be able to do it.
I think I told you years ago, you are going to have a whole new house with all the projects you are doing. Nice to be a handy person.
Thanks for checking into the date on her site. I'll check it out.
Take care and try to stay cool...gonna warm up they say.
Thanks JD for the photos and family links. I sent dates and maiden name through edit. The other memorial was deleted. I sent a note to ancestry about changing her memorial number. Thank you so much for all you do for this site. Best regards: Jeannie

Hello JD, I,m writing about Alice #102694041 in Mountain View cemetery. Centralia, Lewis county inscription- "Mother" There is another memorial #111723512 I,m sure it's the same woman but it has her in Mountain View cemetery Lakewood, Pierce county. I will request a photo from both sites maybe she has 2 stones. I think she must be in Centralia next to her husband Frederick his stone says "Father" Thanks for listening. Best regards: Jeannie

Thank you, JD, for the picture. Very much appreciated.
Sounds good. I have run into folks having stones in two cemeteries. Hard to know where the actual body is but without the cemetery office letting us know, it just stays as is. I guess it doesn't really matter unless a family member wants to visit the "actual" site. Thanks for checking. Someday I'll tell you my story about finding a stone in a graveyard that did not belong there. Man, that put so many flags up everyone's pole, even the cops got involved.
