I am Cherokee, English, French-German, and Scots-Irish in origin. I am from Charlotte, NC, and have family history throughout the southeast and heartland. I am a 5th great-grandson of Wild Potato Clan matriarch Susannah Sonicooie; a 4th great-grandson of John Rogers, Jr. and Sarah Rogers of the Chattahoochee (then Forsyth County, GA); a 3rd great-grandson of Andrew Alkire Trumbo of the 29th Congress; a 6th great-grandson of Martin Parlett (Parletts of the United Kingdom); a 3rd great-grandson of Abe and Margaret Wiggins of Swain and Graham Counties in NC, and who fed the Cherokee Tsali (Old Charley) his last meal before his execution; and a 2nd great-grandson of Rev. Joseph Wiggins, circuit-riding Methodist minister and cavalry chaplain.

I enjoy relating to my ancestors in a space/time manner and have learned much from them via this frequency.

I live on an island in the Puget Sound in Washington State and love writing fiction for young people. My Cherokee communities are the Mt. Hood Cherokees and the Cherokee Community of Puget Sound, both official satellite communities of the Cherokee Nation.
