I started doing a family tree on my Mother's side of the family (Horath) approx. 1994. Seems I can't quit. Recently started taking pictures and adding them to Find A Grave. Trying to return what I have received. Pictures of headstones go a long way in adding to my family tree. If there is a picture I have taken and you want it, take it. I have no problem giving these picture to anyone. I have added memorials of people I do not know. I do this because while taking pictures I find they have no memorial so I add them. If there is a memorial I have created and they are related to you I will transfer them. Thanks to all of you that helped me find stones I am unable to get to.
William Milberry Fowler Robert, thanks for the Fowler transfer. I love being able to add data to our "dead friends" when I find it in my records - particularly when it comes from another part of the country from where they're buried and where descendants might not know to look for it. Susan :-)
Sheila Morgan Contact Geisen Funeral & Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410, her obit was probably place in the Times by them maybe they can answer why her brother was not mentioned. I enter obits from the Times into findagrave which is uploaded to ancestry.com for the benefit of genealogy research if I see or some one request management of someone I enter I transfer over the memorial if not relevant to my family.
RE: Photos of Milley Foley memorials I was thinking the same. I'll see if I can use the edit feature to get the cemetery location changed. Otherwise, I guess a new memorial at Johnson could be made. I created a memorial for his grandson Solomon who is listed on a cemetery survey as being there. Thanks again for taking the time to help others.
