I joined Findagrave as a way of collecting information for Clemson University's Scroll of Honor Memorial web site (http://cualumni.clemson.edu/scrollofhonor). On it are pages for each of the 484 Clemson alumni who died in service to their country.|
I am now working on photographing and posting all grave markers in several cemeteries and graveyards in and around Walhalla, SC.

I've just added his grave photo to Memorial #81067896. You're good to go now. :-)

Thanks for the info, next time I go to the library I will pull his father's obituary to see if I can determine who his wife was - sometimes the obits don't give the info if the spouse predeceased but it's worth a try. I'll also put in a photo request and that may clear it up before I can get to the library. I live about 10 miles from the cemetery so short of everything else I'll make a trip in a few weeks to check myself if I can get plot information - none of the Dillards in the transcription are buried in the same plot as he is but it's an old book from 1995, but I have his and may then find theirs. I love a good hunt !

Thank you for posting the picture of the Stephens Gravesite. Douglas L. Stephens is my namesake, and Toy and Lula Stephens were my grandparents.

My pleasure. I am glad I could help.

Thanks for correcting the cemetery location for him.
Sorry if I confused you.

I read her d/c, but somehow placed the wrong one of her memorial. Thank you for letting me know. I have deleted it. Don't worry about looking for her marker at Woodlawn.

Hope you're doing well.
You added a picture of the above memorial. I am looking for his wife, Floride Isabella (Lee) Calhoun. She was the only grandchild of Thomas Clemson. She died in Atlanta. I read her obit which SAID she was buried there, but I find this difficult to believe. I checked with Oakhill in Atlanta and they have no record of her burial there.
Her husband died in San Antonio, TX and was taken to SC for
burial. This is why I think Floride is buried in Clemson, too.
Did you add all of the Calhouns in their square?
Thanks for your input.
