Brady Family plot
I don't know if this is important, but while I was at Grand View Cemetery looking for the requested Brady family, I noticed that there were more. For instance, there is Harry E. 1897-1968, Hilda G. 1899-1976, James P. 1894-1960, Josephine R. 1923-,Walter R. 1892-1961, and William G. 1885-1936. I went ahead and photographed the other Brady stones and would be happy to upload them if needed.

RE: Emma Smith
Please disregard my last message. I ran the Smith surname through thier database and a found a Chaund Smith. When I checked that name I came up with a photo. It Shows Emma buried under the same stone. So it appears Ivy Lawn Misspelled Chauncey's name, and dont have Emma listed. I will take the photo tomorrow and post it for you.

P.S. the stone shows it correctly as Chauncey, not Chaund.

RE: Emma Smith
Just to let you know, I was heading out tomorrow to photograph Emma & Chauncey's markers tomorrow. I ran a check for them on Ivy Lawns website, under records, and they have no listing for them. There is a Emma Charlette Smith, but with way earlier dates. I have sent an email to ivy lawn and hope for positive results.

It is no problem. I love doing it. If you have more family at ivy lawn, let me know. I would be happy to try and find them.

Geneva + Gilbers S. Trood
Also, I have claimed your photograph request for Geneva Trood. Would you like to also put in a request for her husband Gilbert? I will be emailing the cemetery today for locations for both if so. RSVP please. Kind regards, Bridey Light

RE: George and Alois Studer
Becky! Good night NURSE! 14 years??!! That's the average age of a well cared for dawg or kat! I am willing to bet my lucky stars that the Ross County Genealogical Society will be the last contact you will need to make on the Studer couple's behalf. Mark my words! ~ Bridey

Dear Becky: And, about a year ago, there was a fellow whose final resting place became quite elusive for several Find A Grave photograph volunteers: Earl Edward Knight, Memorial # 71579781. When finally I located him in the third try cemetery, his wife Irene was beside him -- which is always a most welcome bonus, as you probably know! Mary Ann Dubus Garrett, Earl's relative, and I exchanged opinions that Earl and Irene were sitting atop a place on high, giggling and laughing at our futile attempts to find them! Perhaps your George and Alois Studer, resting somewhere in Ross County, Ohio, are in the same club as Earl and Irene -- enjoying the jocularity of us humans walking in circles and scratching our heads as we persist in finding their final resting places! Ahhh, yesss, they leave us microscopic clues along their trails of breadcrumbs, and then they send their pals the ravens to gobble up the clues! ACK! ~ Smiling, Bridey Light :-)

George and Alois Studer
Dear Becky: A fantastic Find A Grave contact I have in Ross County, David H. Sweeney, has just recently emailed me copies of interment lists for three cemeteries: Greenfield New Cemetery (which I believe is aka Greenfield Cemetery, Highland County, OH), Old Burying Ground (on the west bank of Paint Creek, Ross County, OH), and South Salem Cemetery (in Buckskin Township, on Twin Road and near the covered bridge, in Ross County, OH; 1999 interment list). I have checked all three lists for any Studer individuals and found not a one. Just thought I would let you know, as you had George and Alois buried in Ross County. Another popular cemetery in Ross County is Bainbridge Cemetery, Ross County, OH. The Ross County Genealogical Society's address (they created the list -- what a wonderful contribution!) on the South Salem 1999 interment list document is: PO Box 6352, Chillicothe, OH 45601-6352, just in case you might wish to snailmail them for assistance. Kind regards, Bridey Light

Emma Smith
I have claimed your photo request for Emma. I noticed her spouse Chauncey appears to buried in the same section of Ivy Lawn. I would be happy to photograph his marker as well, if you'd like. No need to request it, just let me know.

George and Alois Studer: Your photo requests for them
Dear Becky Romo: I thought you might wish to review this page:

for the Western Methodist Graveyard in Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio, which page indicates that this graveyard has been replaced with a hospital in 1910, and that those buried there with marked graves were moved. You have some old pending photograph requests at Western Methodist Graveyard, so I thought you might wish to seek other sources for the interment of George and Alois Studer. Kind regards, Bridey Light
