I have lived in Lovelady, Houston County, Texas all of my life except for two years. I began attempting to do genealogy about thirty-two years ago. I found Find-A-Grave and immediately I knew I had to participate by taking photos. It is so sad to attempt to take a photo and not be able to find grave due to no marker or the old marker cannot be read. Worse than that is to see pictures of cemeteries that are over grown so bad you can't find any markers.

I have learned so much history while doing research and have been truly amazed at who just might show up in your family tree, such as Nolan Ryan.

Family names I am working on include Bitner, Mitchell, Sanders, Brown, McGahee, Collier, Pattillo, Voyles, Pullin and Patterson.
