RE: Elsie Dietz
I found those parents on several Ancestry.com trees, and Hans' middle name was Carl - Could you give me her parents' full names, and dates, and where in SD they ended up? I hate to have a child alone without any connection :( k

Casey
I have taken some photos of Casey stones in Calvary Cemetery in Nashville. I need your email so I can send along the photos to see if this is the family you are looking for. Thanks.

The Ancestor Hunter
Davis Adams
Thanks, your info has been added.

I am aware of the Welch naming practice. I have many such ancestors from the 1600s and one of those lines was Davis.

Ann M Adamas stone at St Peter's
Hi Susan, I beat the weather this morning, and the light with the clouds and fog made it easier to read the stone. I confirmed the name begins with 'A' with a middle name that begins "Mar?" and ends in Adams. Death year of 1792, which corresponds to Ann's. The other John Adams stone was also more legible in this light, and died in "Sep? 1769" ... "13 years", and is likely her brother. So, the request should be complete now. Hope this helps.

Adams Family at St Peter's Church
Hi Susan, I took photos for John and Davis Adams, and also took them for the other John Adams in the same family, and for Mary Adams. I need to takes some paper for a rubbing on the second stone in the family plot from the left. I believe that is Ann Adams, as I can clearly see the word "daughter" but the name is not legible. I will go back out later this week and revisit that stone. It is a pleasure to go there, as I have family members buried there myself, and it is my favorite plot of ground on this earth, quiet and serene.

I'll add the photo of Ann's stone when I can confirm at least a bit better than I could today, hopefully Thursday when the beautiful weather is forecast to return.

best regards,
David Dillman
