|Sharon B.||RE Agnes Ennis|
Thanks so much for writing me! I can certainly relate to how nutty things can get, lol! I've been trying to find both Catherine and Agnes for several years, having only tidbits of info on either of them and there are gaps in both their bio's.
Te family lost track of Catherine and Agnes around 1939-1940, and never knew whatever became of them, until I found their graves, quite by chance!
Agnes had some medical issues and possibly was disabled. I am wondering who may have cared for her after her mother passed away. I know she was placed in an orphanage in Chicago when she was around 9 years of age, but lived with her mother later on. I'm hoping there may be some additional info, if an obit had been written when she passed.
Thanks for keeping an eye out for one! Keep up the wonderful work you do on Find A Grave, too!
Wishing you a pleasant week!

Thanks for permitting me to use Catherine's obit! I've credited your name for submitting it to Find A Grave, and have added it to our family tree. I wondered if you might have a copy of her daughter's obit. Her name was Agnes Ennis, and she died two years after her mother. Agnes was buried in the same cemetery, next to her mother, Catherine.
I've searched the funeral home website but did not find either women among their listings. Just thought by chance you may have run across a copy of Agnes' obit, if one was submitted.
Again, many thanks for your help!

Am wondering if you may have a copy of Agnes Ennis obit? Agnes was her daughter, and died in 1960. She is buried with her mother, at Sacred Heart. Again, cannot tell you how very much I have appreciated your help!
With heartfelt thanks!

I've been researching my Ennis Family for a number of years and just today found the newspaper obit you had added to my Great Aunt Catherine's FIND A GRAVE memorial!
Wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart as she has been a challenge to track ever since I began researching her!!! Most of the information contained in her obit is correct, but there are a few details that probably had been left out or unknown to the person, who drafted her obituary!
None the less, please accept my heartfelt thanks for adding this information! Your thoughtfulness has certainly helped fill the gaps of her bio and will be a valuable aid to other family members in the years to come.
Thank you again for submitting this information and thanks for contributing your time and research skills to Find A Grave. It is greatly appreciated!
With Best Wishes Always,
Per Find A Grave guidelines, please do not post obituary scans. They are removed by the admins. LG

Find A Grave Memorial# 93174664
Could you provide your source/documentation for Elizabeth's death and burial in the Canton Cemetery? We believe that it makes sense that she is buried at Canton. However, we can find no proof that she was buried there. There is no gravestone. We have looked many times. There is a grave stone for her husband, William Hanna and son, Thomas S Hanna.
She died in February 18, 1891 in Onslow, Iowa at the home of her daughter, Catherine Hanna Ormsby per a story in the Anamosa Eureka newspaper dated February 19, 1891.
Thanks so much for your help.

You're welcome. I was visiting this cemetery for the first time myself. Several ancestors are there.
